I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Eddie a few times I used to work conventions for magazines. I was a nobody. I still am, but I certainly was then, and he used to entertain me for so long. I took it for granted and wished I had asked more questions. Thanks for the video.

I got a Traditional Clipper Ship that goes from my elbow to my shoulder. Shaded sails colored ship water and he added sunset clouds and seagulls. The topper is i asked him to add the my favorite song title underneath HOMEWARD BOUND. This was at his shop in Brunswick ga. In 1981. 10 hours in the chair and he only charged me 150.00. That's when Paul came out with the New pigment ink. I asked Eric about fading and he said. This New ink will hold and that Ship will look better than you when they lay you to rest. I remember his move to Jax. I was station at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay GA.

My granddaughter is getting her first tattoo today. I have two tats I got were from Eric in Brunswick, Ga and he wasn't doing shit work. He was very good. He had just quit his dental gig and told us the whole story about the dental lab and he was using dental equipment to clean his needles. They key to Eric's success back then was we opened the submarine base in Kings Bay Georgia, about a half hour down 95 from Brunswick. My shipmate Jerry Brown, got a rose and Eric got the outline but got sick so Eric told him come back. We took Jerry back and I got a tattoo of a pegasus but I added a stupid horn cuz my girl dug unicorns. He put in blue ink and said "call me in 25 years if colors stick", I called him. Eric worked at his house in a room. He was clean cut and didn't put up with drunks. He did a beautiful dragon in black for me. All of us sailors went to Eric. He was a good guy to deal with and JAX wasn't top source, Kings Bay was. Atlantic in Jax, he moved after I left, was where all the bars were. Hope he is well
