I can attest to this. I remember seeing him at (I believe) Tipitina’s in New Orleans years ago and running into him outside the venue before the show. He was quite polite and took a few moments to speak with us. Truly a class act.

I was very sad to leave him as I had dozen things to tell, to ask, and, unfortunately, this will never happen. This night, I also met Wayne Saltzmann. Like Eric, very nice and simple guy. So, it is not a surprise these real musicians can create songs so positive. Thank you for bringing so much good feelings. It really counts in my life

He plays piano live sometimes? All I know is that he often says that he played piano before he played guitar and thats one of the inspirations - trying to make the guitar sound more like a piano, if I recall correctly anyway.

As a guitarist, I know he gets his signature lead guitar sound from employing the Lydian scale a lot. I saw Johnson open for Joe Satriani in 2006. Eric put on a stellar show! In an article, I read that he hopes to start his tour for the two new albums probably in February or March 2023.

What a great tune! I can't wait to hear more! I had tickets for the 2019 tour and it got cancelled. I had tickets to see EJ 5 days ago here in the triangle, and it got cancelled. Now I have tickets to see EJ in September 2023. Come hell or high water, I will make to the EJ show again eventually. This is the longest I've ever gone without seeing EJ live since I discovered him in the early-mid 90's. I can't freaking wait!!! I'm sure the new records are going to be ACES!
