+TheRadPi I think they made him redo it because of where trevor and berra were sitting relative to where nick did the trick. they couldn't see if his heel actually dragged but they probably saw how much it was hanging off and him turning into it so he wouldn't fall, so they called a redo. but you're right, his heel definitely didn't drag

Frosty has been my favorite skater longer than Nick has been alive. Having said that the ref was bias. Kostons ghettobird was one a 9 year old would count. I cant believe he didn't have to redo it. Then right after Nick does a fakie 540 flip that he didn't catch 100% perfectly so he had to redo it. Witch then let koston come back with that backside pressure flip that he knows nobody ever tried in their life. lol. I understand the defense gets a larger margin of error. But fuck. That ghettobird was a hard flip ride 2 ft and then revert. Not all 1 motion at all.

Eric Elizalde No disrespect but i disagree with you Eric, Nick handles pressure really good. Being a Joe in the BATB has gotta be the most pressure any skater will ever experience next to Street League and Nick had the most nerve racking challenge the first round, back 2 back champion PJ Ladd. Nick messed up the first trick because of all the pressure but then he recomposed himself and won. Then beat Morgan Smith right after. Nick handled the pressure better than most of the Joes.

To the Majer crew, you've got a lot of gems amongst you. Those clips you release, such as your Xmas and Halloween specials....if that were in a Transworld montage, all those guys would be pros. Most tech skating ever, apart from Bachinsky's mini ramp stuff. Holt deserved the gold in this game. Trevor was just trying to get on Eric's good side. I reckon that eric, in hindsight, is aware of how flawed this game was. Nick killed it! Though Trevor killed Nick. Love your work guys! Keep it up.
@scapegoat2510 жыл бұрын

3:56 would have been a re-do for Koston and it's highly and easily believable he'd not of landed it. Once again at 4:06 the fakie 540% flip not a re-do Koston prolly wouldn't have got that in two trys either. Having Nick the winner kuz it was on last letter. even if that 540 was good nick shouldove lost with that 360

agreed but doesn't mean you can redo trick 3-4 times, he fucked up the second try and that shoulda be game. And this coming by someone who thinks BATB refs are AWFUL totally screwing a lot of games and a fan of Nick Holt's S.K.A.T.E. skills
@kellerbustinout8 жыл бұрын
they need an official ref...this has become a major issue.
@agoniavr8 жыл бұрын
kellerbustinout absolutely agreed. I understand most of them are pros which lives are not affected but a couple more bucks(I know it's not "a couple" but you got my point) but for some of these Joes, take Nick, getting that money and the coverage of a final or even semi-final could be a life changer...and they screwed him over.

And the winner is: Nick Holt

I had to watch that pressure flip 180 over and over again wondering how he does this trick

I thought Trevor was a good ref and everyone got fair calls. Plus Nick should have lost with that 360.

What about the hard flip rewind. Look at p rods nollie inward heel rewind against Giger as well.

All in all they were good calls. I don't think Trevor cared one way or the other

Koston kept his head up! Best part since Fully Flared

Bullshit calls, I'm lookin at you Trevor Colden! Biased, wants the Pros to win. Plus I've always hated Koston's style, looks like he's hanging on for dear life on every trick he does. Nick "Bolts" forsure and MAJER crew ftw, forever and always!

+sunnycoast4558 Nick's better all around for his age. Koston has been alive twice as long. Wait till Nick's his age and dat ass gettin' whooped! 😂

To the ppl who think the fs 3 should’ve been E for Nick, I think him getting the redo was fair if you compare it to Kostons hardflip bs 180. Koston came to a complete stop then just pivoted 180, not the same as landing in the pivot and it being one motion, it’s no different than him landing, sitting still for 10 years, then pivoting, either way he ended the trick then pivoted

nick holt has no pop lmao
@CXLV10110 жыл бұрын
he does, his other tricks were fine. i know what you mean though, Nick barely popped at all on that fs 360
@antmagic15376 жыл бұрын
Nick could have won. He had to do alot of do overs. Koston didnt have to on his sketchy lands.
