I finally said trip his feet or give him a gut shot to stop his rhythm (bad coaching). The "mistake" we allow him to make easy shots early own and he got confident. He got into a zone. When the defense got physical, he was making difficult shot, acrobatic shots, all kinds and scores. He never went to the free throw line. The same with Mahomes. So great job my Mahomes.

It's disingenious and right now the Chiefs are stacked like they were last year but last year they lost. Mahomes is very different than other QBs in the game! He fully understands the defense he is looking at, and then he looks at the defensive player for a long time, instead of looking at his receiver, and then pulls the trigger to his receiver, and the defense is completely spell bound by this guy! He has no fear of anyone, and he believes he is faster than most other players, and he makes quick decisions, and sticks with them, until a receiver opens or the field opens up and he runs! Because he has no fear, he is able to look over the field, and he trusts his senses about approaching defensive players, and makes the move that lets him get away long enough to make the play! He is about 5 years ahead of Peyton Manning at this stage of his career, and he will be the best QB to play the game for many years to come! You all are a bunch of clowns, you just don't get it!!!

Mahomes is Russell Wilson 2.0. He has a tremendous knack for biding his time and making the other team pay when they make one or two mistakes. He just doesn’t make any mindless stupid mistakes either. So he plays like Brady did in a way; limit my mistakes while taking advantage of your mistakes. He turned the game on one play over a 60 minute football game. He’s dangerous....

Cant contain when you have to slow up so you dont hit the QB to hard or make sure you dont hit QB in wrong spot outside the strike zone. QBs will exploit the open gaps do to defense slowing up before impact.

Mahomes . . more than a quarterback . . he's an artist. Mangini . . it's like trying to tell Michelangelo how to paint.

I agree!!! He’s not only an artist but a leader of men. And has that killer instinct. Deadly, deadly combinations.

This is the exact same thing I thought all season about Lamar Jackson. Obviously it's easier said then done to guard guys like Mahomes and Jackson

If you give any of the top QBs his talent...what do you think happens.

Coach is 100% right you force Pat to constantly scramble left with pass rush and have a qb spy....qbs wont make much mistakes if they can scramble for 10 yards untouched. Force him to throw.

Mahomes is a beast but it’s hard to be a elite QB when they also have elite talent around them Guarding hill and kelce is hard enough

So in that first drive in the red zone why didn’t the Titans just ran the football on all the plays.. the pound the football until KS can prove they can stop it..

I agree with Nick in that if the Titans had stuck with the run game, they could've won.

Everyone keeps saying he has so many weapons. Yes they have a great team, at This point in every team is great and has weapons. As a chiefs fan let me tell you; Tyreke is fast but still catches the ball with his chest. Hardman is a less fast version with the same suspect hands. Travis is the best receiver and is at least a step slower than he has been in past years. Damien williams is not a game breaker nor is he good enough to milk a game. Stop the mahomes hate

Alex Smith had those weapons

I mean they gotta cover alot of great receivers and te ,put a spy out there and watch them go off even worse.

This wasn’t as slow as a start as the Houston game, the Houston game amplifies this one but they did defer and when you do that you’re taking the chance you’re going to fall behind but you want the ball in the second half. The first 15 plays is a challenge for anybody and the defense forced a field goal on the second drive which nobody has done to the Titans in a month. They were down 10 points twice in the half but held the lead by halftime and getting the ball back in the 3rd which they wanted. It wasn’t the ideal start but I’m just saying if that 24 point deficit didn’t happen the week before this wouldn’t be such a talking point.

You have to game plan like the patriots in order to beat the chiefs
@rustyreese40064 жыл бұрын
So you recommend finding a way to stop the offense for the first half, and then watching them adjust and open up a can of whupass on you in the second, and pray that you can get the ball with enough time remaining to score and regain the lead, with out letting mahomes get another shot. Good plan. It worked out well for the Patriots last year when the chiefs defense was historically bad. You need to revisit the games that you have played against mahomes. It was clear that when he recognized what belicheat was doing he was able to adjust his game and make it into a shootout. The chiefs were able to take the lead in the fourth quarter of both of those games. Patriots didn't have an answer for the chiefs offense.
@phile54374 жыл бұрын
And by gameplan, you mean cheat
@starkiller5784 жыл бұрын
Phil E how did they cheat to beat them in regular season. Can you please explain?
@starkiller5784 жыл бұрын
Rusty Reese “Historically bad defense” there have been worse defenses in the league before you’re overreacting. Mahomes is 1-2 against the patriots. They almost lost to the patriots this year again when HISTORICALLY the patriots had their WORST offensive unit and they STILL almost lost😂. They only won because of a missed TD by the refs, NOT because the chiefs were playing sooo much better. So sit down you wrote all that for nothing and looked stupid. “They were able to adjust” And they still LOST🤣 TWICE, in the same season. You act like patriots didn’t adjust as well. I can tell you’re a chiefs fan😂 Try to be more objective and unbiased

I don't understand how Mangini still has a job on TV. I DO understand how Mangini doesn't have a coaching job.

NFL should change the rules. No one wants to tackle QB because it always draws a flag. QB can slide and if you hit him when he does its a flag. You see defenses hesitate all the time when QB is running. Do you think its a coincidence that we are seeing all of these record QB rush yards after all of these rule changes that Baby quarterbacks?

“Mangini. He can’t be contained like Lamar can’t be contained. He alone will win the game for the Chiefs because football is a one man effort. Out unstoppable QB is the sole reason that got the 49ers to the NFC Championship”- Kyle Shanahan

Eric Mangini keeps saying the Chiefs made mistakes against the Titans. They made no mistakes against the Titans. Is it a "mistake" that the other team scores? They have million dollar athletes too.

If Mangini knows how to stop Mahomes, he won’t be sitting here talking about football and actually be coaching football. Mahomes is out of this world talent . If he stay healthy he will break all QB records

The reason Mangini can't understand it, is the same reason he's not coaching in the NFL any more. PM2 is the best QB in the league & might end up being the.... well you know cause you're not Eric Mangini
