確かにうまい。けどやっぱりあの哀愁溢れる歌詞と稲葉さんの切な気な声、松本さんのオリエンタルな音色のギターには敵わない。単純に技量があればいいというものではないということがわかる。B'z持ち味がよく効いているこの曲だから余計にそう感じる。

批判多めだからなんだろうと思って聞いてみたけど、これは編曲者がダメなんじゃ・・？ リズムをハネさせるから明るくなっちゃって原曲のしんみり感が無く、軽くなっちゃってる。 良くも悪くも９０年代テイストが合うボーカリストだから、どうしてもロックテイストにしたかったならプリティ・メイズの昔流行ったあれみたいなメロメロな音楽で行ったほうが「合う」んじゃないのかなぁ。
