NGL, I'm a huge fan of Eric, caught all his concerts in NYC, jammed to every track. Surprisingly, this one hit differently, got me shedding a tear. I live in NYC, the feels hit hard with all the challenges in the NY scene these days, hustling as an asian immigrant and looking out for my folks at the same time. Navigating this concrete jungle exposes us to hate crimes, whether on the streets or in the subway, and you never know when life might throw a curveball. Sometimes, I find myself thinking and tbh, if only I could be someone else, I wish I wasn't me, then maybe I could secure a safer future for my fam.'
