How about investigating how difficult it would be to replace Canadian with Saudi. Can they use rail? Can pipe be reversed? Using Saudi as leverage is the bargaining chip. How long would any retooling take.

It's definitely peaking. From here moving forward, it's going to be less oil, and more water and gas. The bpd "equivalent" will remain unchanged, but the ratio will not. People should be buying the Canadians in advance of this reality.
