You always cheer me up in my darkest hour, when i was kicking methadone; your acting and personality gave me hope, as i know that you are a strong man, and that you have been through similar shit! you are my hero and benchmark throughout my life. there is no other actor as honest as you are . What a nice and supportive family! :) I wonder what Eric's sister, Julia, thinks about her brother? You never hear her mention him. Great family who have risen above all the odds, The wife and mother being the glue that has bonded them all together with her wisdom and patience. Eric is a fabulous Actor, he is just a free spirited male. As the man in my life told me at he start, " I'm difficult"...he never said how difficult though and with what :)))

Wanting to escape from reality I never understand. Some people are just constantly bored by life. I don't believe you can cure that. I cant see why anyone living in LA would be bored but hey thats just me. Such a cool place to live not die in. Eric Roberts rules. His performance in Star 80 is one of the best acting scenes in cinema IMO.

Eric would have been awesome as a talk show host, but not the usual sputtering, I mean talking about issues so many iof us have that leads us to places we dont want to be. I never knew Eric was so real. I wish I had a brother like him, maybe my life would have been kinder. He seems like he is a great parent and should be making movies on setting examples as one as mesed up is the world is...mainly because of bad parenting, imho. But then....he didnt get banished from hollywood for so long because he was a saint. So one never really knows another. I love his work to death,though. In fact when I saw Mickey Rourke and Eric playing together almost 30 yrs ago, I knew both of them were going to be huge stars. Boy did they both do somethin wrong. Love em both!
