I still own my aunts 89 Acura Integra she passed away in 2010 and left me the Integra and her SS Blazer she got the Acura in 1990 took real great care of it. Currently sitting at 56k miles.

Very cool. My neighbor had one in the 80's. One thing I can say about 80's Hondas is I mainly like them for nostalgia reasons. From a performance standpoint, they just don't have it unfortunately. I've been casually looking for an 86-89 Accord, but it's not because I want it for the performance. It is mainly for the nostalgia. 1990 is when Hondas got a lot better in terms of performance, so those are the Hondas I would see buying for performance and nostalgia. I could see myself buying an Integra like this some day, but I know I wouldn't keep it nearly as long as I do all of my other cars.

@Tyson Hugie Definitely. My dad handed down his 86 Accord to me in 1995. It was a fun car to drive in terms of handling, good gas mileage, and ease of parking it in parking lots. Lol The 90s Hondas allowed for much more performance. I loved the idea of piecing together Accords with Prelude parts. Not much options for the 80s Hondas unfortunately. I put a Cherry Bomb exhaust on my 86 Accord and used to brag to my friends aboit how it has 5 more HP than stock Accords. Lol

I am not certain on the chassis relationships, but there were definitely shared parts across many Honda cars of this era!

Whenever I see the interior of this Integra it just reminds me of my parents 88 Accord Lx-i sedan. This would be a great all seasons car to drive except when it snows because the salt would eat up the body of this Integra.
