great shop tour, impressed with your tool restoration and air brush art work. Could you do a tutorial on VFD drives? I have an old Craftsman (USA made) that I would love to convert to variable speed.
@ErodzCustoms4 жыл бұрын
Funny you should bring that up. That is planned for the not so distant future. So stay tuned for that.
@jameswieler32954 жыл бұрын
cool, will that be for 110V input/110V output?
@ErodzCustoms4 жыл бұрын
@@jameswieler3295 a vfd needs to control a 3 phase motor so they can't do 110. However small hp. Motors (3phase) are cheap.

By the way, what model is your pullmax? ...I bought one last summer it's a D3... supposedly came from an airforce base .. no one I've talked to has ever heard of this model. It has a 5hp motor, 47" throat,and uses 22mm tooling... I'm trying to find info on it. Your pullmax looks like it has a deeper throat but it could just be a camera angle thing. What is the nibble capacity of yours?

My buddy sold one about a year or two so ago that had gto seats that was super super solid but tore down like that too. It had a gto engine and harness in it too. Just found the channel tonight and man what an awesome garage and channel.
@makeshift35764 жыл бұрын
@@Nevercouldfigureitout actually I bet you are referring to the tore down one in the other shop lol. I don't know where that one is from. I'd have to ask Eric. He has had that for more than a few years though I think.
@Nevercouldfigureitout4 жыл бұрын
MakeShift yes sir the one tore down. Sorry I wasn’t specific with which one I was referring to. I don’t remember when my buddy sold his but the body was super solid and seeing gto seats. It just automatically hit me to think of that car. Anyways, channel is great and I went and found fb page after reading a few comments. I usually do power tour too but thinking about skipping this year.
