Lisa Robin Kelly first made her acting debut at age 21 in a 1992 episode of Married with Children (1987), and went on to guest-star in many popular television shows, such as Murphy Brown (1988), The X Files (1993), Sisters (1991), and Silk Stalkings (1991), and appeared in many obscure, straight-to-video/TV movies. She finally earned her big break and minor celebrity status at age 28, with her role as "Laurie Forman", the promiscuous elder sister of "Eric Forman" on That '70s Show (1998). The character garnered her #6 placement on Maxim's TV's "Best Nymphos" list. She enjoyed brief success, mild publicity and increased output during the first two years of the show, including one of her only high-profile movies, Jawbreaker (1999). She developed drug problems during filming of the third season of "That '70s Show" and was fired. It was explained that her character Laurie was off attending beauty school.
She briefly returned to the show in the fifth season and was offered appearances in 13 episodes of the sixth season. She filmed the first few episodes, but was replaced by Christina Moore, as she was in the midst of a key story and her character couldn't up and leave again. Fox stated this was a mutual agreement, and Wilmer Valderrama, with whom she spent most of her screen time in season five, said she wanted to try other things. Her agent restated that adding that she had been clean for two years. According to IMDb, she has had only one credit since her final exit from the show: the 2005 film The Food Chain: A Hollywood Scarytale (2005).
Days after checking into Pax Rehab House in Altadena, California, Kelly died in her sleep at the facility on August 15, 2013, at 43. On January 3, 2014, the Los Angeles Department of Coroner concluded that she died from an accidental unspecified oral "multiple drug intoxication". In June 2014, Kelly's estranged husband filed a lawsuit against the rehabilitation center where she was being treated and subsequently died, claiming negligence.
Lisa was cremated, her ashes given to family and friends, before being inurned at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Weddington, North Carolina.

I completely understand about drug addiction. I am a recovering narcotic addict 4 years clean. It's very easily to become addicted esp when you live with chronic pain. EMPATHY IS THE KEY. GREAT JOB AS ALWAYS SCOTT. YOUR COMPASSION IS OFF THE CHARTS MY MAN.

Depending on where your pain comes from …. I have osteoarthritis in my spine, neck and shoulder . Immense pain. I started on a regime of vitamin A, D3 and K2, plus Boron . My pain stemmed from calcium build up in my joints . Taking those 4 things made my pain disappear . Plus you need to take magnesium and zinc to activate the D3.

Those things do happen. I put 2 and 2 together after my sisters death. Nothing anyone can do now and a couple of people got away with it and the distance that families sometimes put between themselves their addicted members makes it an easy crime. That being said she didn’t ask anyone to help her either. I doubt they know that we even know. Wouldn’t care if they did, maybe they would think twice before doing it again.

Very well done, Scott. I've seen you on Adam The Woo's channel and enjoy your humor. Jesus taught compassion and sometimes it's a hard thing to show when you are privy to the behind the scenes info. My only sibling, who was 6 years older than me, lost everything he had in life to addiction. Jesus put it upon my heart to have compassion on him and let me tell you, it wasn't easy. One year ago this week he passed away in a nursing home and I was his only contact. I had to handle his final plans by myself, with a minimal amount of help from a county coroner and a funeral home. He paid dearly for his deeds, but in the end I had to have compassion and forgiveness in my heart because the Lord put it upon my heart. I prayed for him at the end to finally have rest. I do miss him a lot now.

This is so sad. Another wonderful actress with so much potential for a near perfect future just gone because of an addiction she couldn't control. At this point I guess that doesn't matter anymore and we need to remember the best in her. I do hope that through video's like these that others who suffer from the same fate may be able to turn their lives around when they see where it could lead. I do believe that most people with addictions don't want to be addicted and you never know what could be the turning point for them to make that happen. It could very well be a video like this that could save someone else's life. May she RIP forever more ❤ 💐

I was 10 when it first aired in 98 and by that time I was already smoking pot with my friends so you can guess why I really loved it haha then it ended my senior year in high school in 06 and by that times I was already partying just like they did in Foreman’s basement. Alcohol and drug addiction is a disease. If more people saw it as a chronic disease such as diabetes, cancer, that needs constant mindfulness, etc folks wouldn't be quick to judge and blame the individual. Truly sad that she died at such a young age. thanks for the video Scott.

@shondarby-mcconnell1502 who do u know who CHOOSES to b an addict? I'll wait. They may choose to take their next drink or hit but their bodies leave them little choice. Why do u think so many that r bought and sold, r given drugs? Gonna prob take u a minute. But it's all about chemicals. So yes the taking ur first drug is a choice, but most think it will never get the best of them. I have a very addictive personality but I am the opposite, I know I do so avoid most things , but guess what I'm. Addicted to soda And why ALL THE CRAP THEY PUT IN IT on purpose to make it body crave it. I love to gamble but rarely do cause I am one of those who KNEW THE NEXT TIME I would win, it could so easy to do. But I have lived with addicts in some form most of my life it's caused nothing but problems, so I am happy that my addictions rnt AS BAD. and then again no one is really perfect, though it sounds like u THINK u might b U ever had a loss so bad u can't function, or pain so bad u wish u could end it all? MANY DO, they often turn to drs to get help lots of drs give u drugs and chances r very high u would join that group u seem to deem unworthy.. hope it never happens for u but if it does I know others will show more compassion than u. Enjoy ur day.

Why, it was her choice. How can you be sad for someone that did this to themselves?

I know to well about this. My mother was 50, I was 19, she dies of cirrhosis. My favorite uncle, her brother, committed suicide from alcoholism about 3 years before she died. My dad died from rheumatic heard disease 1 1/2 months after my mother died. He too was an alcoholic. They lived in Chicago, but I was raised in Arkansas by my grandparents. My grandparents never drank. All in all, by the time I was 21, I had lost my whole family, except my brother. I am now 72. I know about addiction! Thank you for sharing this. I hope it helps alt least one person…
