​@@FSE9330because why should they allow Russia? Russia is openly hostile towards all of Europe and threatens them daily with nuclear attacks. Israel is just trying to defend itself like Ukraine is. Not only that, it is allied with and on friendly terms with most European countries. It does not threaten them with military action. Russia, Iran, China, North Korea, and yes Palestine, are all allies. Can anyone from the west really support any nation from this group and think they're the good guys? That they're on the right side of history? Israel was forced into its war just as Ukraine was. It didn't go into Gaza for no reason to slaughter innocent civilians like Hamas did. They are being made to do harsh things in the interest of protecting its people from future attacks and not bowing to terrorism. Much of the world thinks Israel should just let its people get slaughtered. History will show the supporters of this as deluded as the Germans were when the nazis took over.

Either way, and i very much oppose the russian politics, i do believe they should be in the contest. they have been part of eurovision since a long time and belong there and this contest should have NOTHING to do with politics. it should actually be a place to come together. but even if you wanna go that route, there is a huge difference between russia, which has launched a full on unprovoked war on its neighbouring country and israel, which is fighting a defensive war against a terrorist organization, which commited one of the worst massacres in history and still holds people including children hostage.
