Even josh said it….there in a situation where they don’t control their own destiny….and they don’t wanna show everything they have but still wanna win

If kc win on Christmas u probably won't see allen much more til playoffs and some other players health and rest is key cuz that's been the problem the last couple years and Williams can be a monster if the bills use 3 lb's they can blitz him more

Why do the backs think that holding receivers will not turn into penalties. this has gone on too long. Defensive softness allows other offenses to march down the field and keeps Allen on the bench. It is an amazing stupid strategy and has to change!

1) I believe it is very wise at this point in the season to pocket your best material (offense, defense, ST) for the playoffs. 2) I believe the Chiefs have been doing this ^^ all season long. 3) The defense has the tools to do what needs to be done. The apparent issue to me is consistency. I’ve seen this defense essentially shut down running attacks. Then they get busted for 200 on the ground. I’ve seen them dominate in the run game. Then they get away from the run and it’s super frustrating when it feels like the offense is pushing too hard when only down by 7 or 10 points (down by 17 or more with precious time ticking away in the late third, totally understandable). 4) Bass hit everything Sunday ✅, he’s hanging in there. Sometimes it looks like Martin is holding the ball forever, and that looked like the issue that led to a blocked punt in LA. 5) Getting the depth personnel meaningful snaps is wise! Injuries are a part of the game, it’s great to avoid them when possible but to have your backups exposed to real pressure, real situations, real tackling (!), is really important later on. I saw the inactive list yesterday and I was glad to see Coach trusted the backups with the assignments. Look, guys it’s not going to be perfect 34-13 wins every week in this league - we Bills fans are spoiled - but the fact that those have occurred often enough that this mindset is rather common in Bills Mafia is a complement to this team and the standard that this team can reach in all phases. 6) Everyone matters or no one does. There is so much MVP talk (guilty) but all of that is in a vacuum. It takes an entire team committed to excellence and consistent in excellent performance of one’s assignments to achieve greatness and hoist the Lombardi. It was good to see Josh toggle it down in respect of the broader goal. Discretion is the better part of valor. 7) Control what you can control. It starts with believing in your teammates and coaches and doing your job at the highest level at a consistent clip. This team CAN! Don’t worry about the Super Bowl right now. Next game is the New York Jets. How are we running routes? How are we tackling? How are we communicating and passing off assignments? What can “I” do better in this formation/package, play, etc.? 8) I listen to a lot of postgame interviews of different teams, and I am blown away at how professional and humble Bills players are after wins and losses. I believe that is a direct reflection of the culture Coach has built and to which all of you have helped contribute over the years. Bravo! 9) You take a city one street at a time. The next game is the New York Jets. Focus on how to improve and grow as individuals within your assignments and roles and also as a team. You are where your feet are standing. “Gotta want it” 😤 - Coach McDermott SFP 🔵🔴 GO BILLS

I can't stand to see spector on the field him and Matt might be a fan favorite but he is not the same after all those injury we need Williams on the field he is great in run support even buffalo Joe made a play in run defence stop trying to be right with your draft picks and use the players that help

The Bills future will depend on it's Defence. The narrative for the last 3 years is Josh v Patrick, but the truth is it's always been the Chiefs defence has been much better than the Bills. If the Bills can get their Defence healthy for the playoffs, they've got a great shot at the SB.

The offense is gonna get the criticism today, but that’s such a dumb shallow take. They’ve scored 30+ points 8 games in a row, and in 11 total games. There’s a reason nobody’s got 9 in a row, in the same season. So the offense was due for an off day, and that’s why happened. And obviously Smiley is just terrible, no need to talk about him, everyone knows it, including McDermott. The issue I have with this team is Babich. His defensive philosophy is horrible. There’s no other way to put it. He can’t get a pass rush with 4 ever. He can’t simulate pressure. He won’t use defensive stunts. And there’s no creativity on defense, pretty much at all. And because of that, this years defense has been, by far, the worst 3rd down defense the Bills have had under McDermott, and it was terrible again, against one of the worst 3rd down offenses in the league. The patriots were 0-6 on 3rd down the game before, against the Cardinals. Not the Steelers, or the Chargers, the fricken cardinals, and Babich pretty much never stopped them. The ONLY good thing (and to me it’s really a bad thing, when you actually use context, and history) Babich does is get turnovers. But when he can’t force 2 or more turnovers, the defense falls completely apart. And it’s not about the players, or injuries, those are garbage, lowly excuses. I’m so sick of the injury excuse. The defense was pretty terrible when those guys were healthy, which they were in the Rams game. It’s Babich’s “philosophy” to me that just isn’t any good. And the biggest problem by far is 3rd down defense. To me, it’s the worst 3rd down defense I’ve ever seen. It’s like every team is the 2007 patriots playing against 2007 Buffalo, it’s pathetic. And also to say “they’re holding stuff back” is so SO dumb. What the Bills just gave up the 1 seed to “save a few plays”? that’s so incredibly dumb, on every level. And how do know if those plays work if you don’t ever try them? I get Babich is only in his 1st year, but at the same point idc. Why should fans have to wait because Babich may get better…. Or he might not. Why do guys like Dawkins and Josh get held back from a Superbowl so Babich can maybe figure it out. That goes against everything McDermott says the team is about. And if true, it’s a fireable offense, for sure. If Babich is going to get better, he needs to do it now, not “maybe in the playoffs” or “maybe next year”. Practice makes perfect. What’s a better practice setting than the last 2 games, for new concepts? And I’ll just say it again, because it has to be said. If McDermott is actually holding stuff back, and the show that, and they still get beet in the playoffs, especially if they try new things, and those new things fail. If that’s why lose the game, there is no saving McDermott’s job anymore. That will ONLY be able to be described as McDermott finding yet another dumb way to lose a playoff game. And it will ultimately be another example of McDermott’s biggest flaw, his decision making.

The Bills reg season essentially ended week 11, kC isn't losing out cuz the league is 🗑 mediocrity, kC is not that good or dominant at all yet nobody can beat them? It's a joke, they're undefeated at home & I'm guessing it stays that way.. Bills defense, DLine & scheme sux & will be their downfall again like every year
@jcZo2312 сағат бұрын
Yesterday's game showed the same thing the last 2 weeks showed, that like every year, a team with a defensive HC has a 🗑 Defense & an even worse DL, they're the liability every year & the sole reason why they go home early every single dam year & it will be no different this year, believe what they show you.. Oliver is small & isn't good enough & the rest all stink, Rousseau is not elite, he's just ok & disappears for weeks at a time, Gabe Davis of the D & the Milano experiment is over, he just cant stay healthy, its ridiculous.. Williams> & wow, what a busT Elam was.. They're clearly coached this cuz they all do it & its insufferable aF! but TURN TF AROUND & MAKE A PLAY ON THE DAM BALL CORNERS!! Ugh
