Why do you need to rebuke? Why not try to understand the situation? I haven’t read most of the comments but I think I know some of the issues. Without judging Erica, I would say that I am conscious of what I wear when I go to church. I don’t want to be a distraction. I don’t want any part of my anatomy to be a distraction. So I would not wear tight pants…the style of clothing, the design of the clothing can lead the eye to parts of the body. I as a woman would not want anyone who is worshipping God to suddenly be distracted by what I am wearing and for their gaze to go to certain parts of my body because of the design. On an extreme level, let’s say a woman is wearing a low cut top and showing cleavage. She is leading praise and worship, where should the brothers look? They are trying to worship God and she is distracting them. That’s how I see it. I hope this helps to provide an understanding of where people are coming from.
