Even then kind of the Nightverb is amazing, maybe you don't have too much hardware but I would better have a plugin in a box then another clone of a 40 years old machine. Don't underestimate to have a box that you can plug in a modular synth and play it without a computer, this is not to save money; this is to play and be inspired.

Synthesized claps should be outlawed, worldwide, for at least ten years. It is a minimal penance for decades of abuse of these lazy approximations of claps. Actual claps would be bad enough if hand claps had been abused to the same extent. Synthesized claps are much worse. So, yes, ten years may be enough resensitize our brains to short bursts of noise (no guarantees - ten years may not be enough, in which case we can extend the ban), while preserving our sanity in a crazy world for just a bit longer.
