Hi, two years later and I found and have watched your video. The reason I've found your video is because for just a few yrs previous I found I was interested in spinning and now today am considering seriously about spinning.So I'm on youtube looking up different things on spinning and your video title attracts my attention. I even am considering getting sheep once I move into the country. I want to start by drop spindle but am thinking of why not just go straight to a spinning wheel. First, your manner of presenting this wheel was satisfying and kept my interest until the end. Also the time you took explaining or pointing out aspects of the wheel was really great. I feel I'm left with good beginning food, so to speak. Well, just want to say THANK YOU and will watch your video again when I feel I need or want to. Have a blessed one.

Wow this was the best video on all of you tube , you actually explained everything on how to use it and wow thank you so much , I been really frustrated because most spinning videos start with spinning fiber with no instructions on the wheel itself and how to use it. Thanks so much

Is the worker bee the same but with 16oz bobbins

The King Bee is a bit different and foldable so it travels better. I actually prefer the Echo now that I've tried both, I think it's a bit smoother, but I also don't travel as much with it, so I think it depends on your needs. You can put the 16oz bobbins on it as well.

Ive seen both videos on echo and king b. It's June 2020. Ok which wheel did you settle on, the echo or the king b.?

I prefer the Echo, but both are good. If you are wanting something more portable the King Bee is probably better. I don't travel with my wheel very often though so the Echo is better for me :) I felt like the Echo was a bit smoother of a spin in my opinion, but the King Bee is also good and it folds into a nice neat little travel box.

Why does the pegs on one side is closer for the first two pegs on the right sides???

I'm not 100% sure, but I use those to wrap my fiber around when I'm taking a break, I'm not sure if that's exactly why they're like that though.

Hi! I still LOVE IT!!! I don't regret the purchase at all, I think it's a great beginner wheel, but it can also grow with you as well. I really like that I can spin any type of yarn I want without having to purchase different sized orifices like you would with other wheels. It's also super easy to treadle as well!

@@erica_arndt Thanks for replying to my question. I have an Ashford traveler wheel and a Ashford traditional wheel. I like how portable the King Bee looks on your video. We do camping and outings that I think your wheel would work. By the way, I got out the Air Force to be home and I homeschooled my children who are wonderful adults now.😊

Hi Erica, were there any cons to this wheel? Do you worry about access to parts if the SpinOlution company dissolves? I love the benefits of this machine but I wonder if I'll be able to replace parts in 5 years. Did you happen to check out the Sidekick wheel and could you briefly compare them if you did? If you didn't don't worry. I have the specs on both. Thanks.

So far I don't have any CONS. The company has been super nice and easy to work with, great customer service. Karen, who sells the wheels, said that they're super easy to get parts from and if anything goes wrong they're really good about fixing/replacing the items. She said they're also really open to suggestions from their customers on making their wheels better as well. I didn't try the Side Kick, but I think she had one, so when I go next time I will ask to see it. I tried the LadyBug and it was okay, but I felt like I was fighting with the treadles. It was smooth once I got it going, but difficult for me to control the direction of the flyer. I've heard good things about the Side Kick. The only bad thing I heard was it was difficult to visually figure out if you were going clock-wise or counter-clockwise with the way the wheel is oriented on the Side Kick. Probably just takes some getting used to.
