love your tutorials, especially the little "beginner friendly" projects, I'm 62 and I'm a beginner to that wonderful sewing hobby ... still struggling with binding though 🫣🤣 thanks for all the time you take to help all of us out here ... Love from Germany, Danielle

I love all your tutorials! You make me want to do all these fun projects! I started quilting/sewing when I turned 48- a year and a half after my precious granny passed away. Every summer I would stay 2 weeks with her. I would sit at her feet while she quilted, crocheted, knitted ,embroidered, needlepointed. Yet I never desired to do any of it until it was too late. I inherited her sewing machine (it needs serviced for sure) so I bought a beginners singer and haven’t looked back! I’ve done 2 quilts, a table runner, numerous pj bottoms and pillow cases and one bag! Every time I see I can feel my granny. I’ve even smelled her late one evening. I know she would be so proud of me! Thank you for all you do! You an amazing teacher! 💗

Your tutorials are FABULOUS. I especially appreciate the pace of them. So many other tutorials I watch are dragged out and last 3 times longer than they should. It seems they approach every one of them as though every viewer has no basic knowledge. That's great for beginner tutorials but doing every one of them like that is just not necessary. You get right to it, give us the supplies and jump right in. Your style is so appreciated and I'm completely drawn to everything you post. They're clear & concise without the extra chatter & fluff. Please keep it going! Thanks so much! :)

Thank you for showing the whole project rather than stop at binding. As a newbie to QAYG, it's very helpful. I also saw a video where the backing was used for the binding - rather than a separate piece of fabric. That's an idea for future tutorials.

I cannot say enough how happy I am to have found your tutorials. I have been a garment sewist for years and am just now curious about making quilts. I just pieced my first mug rug for my brother who is in assisted living and loves coffee. It is not exactly perfect by any means but he will love it. I am trying to learn with small projects first. I have cut a lot of denim squares from old jeans that I want to make guy quilts out of. One day at a time.

How cute is this? I discovered your channel a few weeks ago when searching for face mask tutorials (which, by the way, yours was the best I found). I haven’t used a sewing machine since Home Ec in middle school, so I’m basically a total beginner. Your tutorials are excellent. They’re easy to follow even for someone with little or no experience, you do a great job demonstrating and explaining and I love that you don’t waste time with rambling stories, jokes that aren’t funny, etc. Cant wait to try some of your other projects!
