I don't understand the Bloom recipe. Flotrol is in the last gold colour, I get that. What is mixed with the other colours? Water? Or is that the 3:1 mix recipe at the beginning using polyurethane?? I ask because the 3:1 recipe is posted and THEN it says house paint base. Anything mixed in the base house paint? I think this is absolutely stunning but the instructions are SO confusing. Please help.

Stunning Erica... love the colours and the cells are gorgeous... I presume they were formed by the Floetrol and the ColorArte paints and pigments... lovely

Hi Erica! Love the colors coming through the cells, especially the green that was made. It's gorgeous next to the pinkish violet tones. I'm also a loved of negative space so an A+ for that as well!💗💗💗 Lori 💙

Yes, yes, yes, love the colored CA! Did you do the swipes with the intention of having them finish on the opposite corners? I love that with the white in the center and color on either side. Beautiful.

I love this.. colors are fantastic! When you say , “ cell actvator”, what exactly are you using ?
@elycesacrylicpouring28154 жыл бұрын
She uses 1 part Amsterdam paint to 3 parts Australian floetrol
@philosopherstaco4 жыл бұрын
And is the cell activator only put into the swipe colour??
@sageturner49162 жыл бұрын
@@philosopherstaco What they aren’t telling you is that you can’t buy Australian floetrol in the United States. You have to order it from Australia for $49 per container then pay $200 to ship it here. The professional painters most likely receive it for free or live there. It has frustrated me since I began paint pouring 6 years ago.

Sorry if I missed the info but how do you mix the pigments for Dutch pour and blooms, is that what the vivid enamel is for?
@sbolingtay064 жыл бұрын
What you mentioned are two totally separate techniques. With a Dutch pour you have to thin down your paints with paint and water or you can use a combo of paint, flo and water. The bloom technique uses expensive products to produce this type of effect. It's not recommended for beginners. Hope this helps, tc!
@emmakate86864 жыл бұрын
sbolingtay06 yes I’m aware 😊 I have been doing both for some time now, it’s not the techniques but the actual pigments themselves I’m interested in, how or what they are mixed into to create a paint 😊 I have seen some people mix them into existing paints or into a mixing medium etc

Love this!! I’m just wondering when you say ‘cell activator’ does that just mean you use the Amsterdam paint and Floetrol mix? Does the more Floetrol you use mean bigger cells? Sorry to ask I’m really new to paint pouring!
@philosopherstaco4 жыл бұрын
Wondering the same too.
@sbolingtay064 жыл бұрын
Hello Maria this technique isnt considered paint pouring. This is called the Bloom technique by a lady by the name of Shelee. This technique isnt recommended for beginners because of the cost of the products and the skill needed to produce the actual technique. Hope this helps, tc!

It would save those of us living in the US a lot of time if you would list in your title that you are using Aussie Flo. It costs $200 just to ship it here and not all of us can afford that. Thank You.

Very beautiful cells there, I will say I feel that you lost some of the beauty as the cells ran off, I would have kept more of them, but that's just down to my taste.
