his cigar boxes are very pretty, the pink line they make is very eye-catching, and and the space he's in has a clean aesthetic. Maybe these two factors also helped? trick is dope either way.

Hey yea I was thinking about those as well, not to take credit away from the trick. I was also thinking it's a pretty visual trick, 'understandable' compared to some more 'siteswapy' juggling tricks. Plus he says something in japanese (which means "barely!") which makes people curious, as well as the title 'simplified' which also makes people wonder why he's downplaying this crazy trick. Anyways, those are my thoughts, but who knows for real...

Thank you. A few days later @jacob_acrobat did this trick too and his video has like 500k+ of course.... but he has a big following to begin with so it's less surprising. Still, funny to see the same trick different places, very similar videos. Maybe my battle cry of success turned people off? haha
