The writer of this show said that Obi-Wan wouldn’t have yet known that Anakin was Darth Vader, even though Obi-Wan watched a hologram in ROTS where Palpatine calls Anakin “Lord Vader”. Clearly, they did their research. 😑

This really was one of the best reviews out there. I’m glad you’re not being blind like most of the others. I’m a massive Star Wars nerd but I was very disappointed with this show. Instead of making a good show for fans of the (real) 6 movies, they decided to stay in their safe zone and mimic the mandalorian. There were some episodes that I liked like ep1, 5, maybe 3 and 6. Also in case you don’t know this: ep4 really was just a copy of the final level in Jedi: fallen order. Oh yeah and as you said Reva sucks. They should’ve just made Vader or the grand inquisitor the main villain. The fact that obi-wan let her live was beyond stupid to me.

Here's my List/Ranking 6. Episode 4. This episode is just Filler which is not a good thing at all since it has 6 episodes. Naruto Shippuden despite it having it way too much, it makes sense. But here, There is no time for fillers in the shortest show on Disney+ right now. 5/10 5. Episode 1. It was a good start but as an overall episode, it's not something you'll see me watch again. 6/10 4. Episode 2. This episode really picks up and gets the plot moving forward, yes some plot holes were there but it didn't make me hate the episode unlike other people. 7/10 3. Episode 3. OK i know you don't like this episode, as a matter of fact, I was going to not like this episode after I saw this show being very hated by many people. But then i realised they were people who reflected back on episode 2. So after so long i watched this episode and it was a very solid episode, 7.5/10 2. Episode 5. Now I am gonna say something very controversial but I have never liked Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. But this episode was really good with strong action. 8/10 1. Episode 6. OK the stuff with The Third Sister was not that great but WOW, What a finale. Plot comes a conclusion. The Obi wan VS Darth Vader was everything i wanted it to be, The emotion was fantastic and for the sake of spoilers, But Palpatine and Qui gon Jin make an appearance. And i'm so happy to see some nostalgic characters come into this show. 9/10 This is not as good as the Mandolorian, Clone Wars, Rebels and in my opinion Star Wars: Visions. But it's better than the Bad Batch, The Book of Boba Fett & Star Wars Resistance. So in my Opinion it Overall gets a 8/10

OK i don't think she survived because of Kathleen Kennedy. But because the Sith Rage. Remember, Qui Gon died from a stab because the Jedi are not all about Rage, But the Sith are about Rage. That's why the Grand Inquisitor and The Third Sister survived. But Qui Gon and The Jedi Assisting Mace Windu when fighting Palpatine died from a stab because they are Jedi.

I see what you’re trying to say but it doesn’t make any sense. First of all the inquisitors aren’t sith, they’re force sensitives trained by Vader to hunt down Jedi survivors. And yes they use the dark side, but then aren’t sith. And Reva also got stabbed by Anakin when she was a Jedi youngling. If Qui-Gon, one of the wisest Jedi of all dies from being stabbed by darth Maul, then a youngling should 100% die from being stabbed by Anakin Skywalker.

It looks interesting. It definitely looks like they straight up looked at and copied James Cameron's work from Avatar 2. Something which is definitely possible considering that Disney now own Avatar. That being said, I am going to reserve full judgment for the movie when it releases. I don't trust trailers in the MCU as they very often lie about their tone. So the trailer might have this weight to it but the movie could just end up being generic Marvel. So we'll see.

I'm interested but I can't say I'm excited. James Gunn has proved himself on the DC side with The Suicide Squad and especially Peacemaker. But on the Marvel side his drama is very minimal and his comedy is too much. With DC he has a much better balance but with Marvel it's like he's told to bring down the drama and focus more on the comedy. So I can't say I'm excited. But I will reserve judgment for the final movie.

@@adamgrunther1367 I LOVED Peacemaker. It started a bit slow but it once it picked up the comedy and drama started to balance out more and I really enjoyed it. Peacemaker himself is a sympathetic character as you realise how lonely he is and how he just doesn't know better due to how he was raised. I liked when the show got dark and due to these characters being villains, I did hate them at times. My favourite character was surprisingly Vigilante. But at the same time, they all worked in different ways so I don't necessarily favour one over the other. Peacemaker's dad being the villain was really good and was a sad and cruel plot line that really made you feel for Peacemaker. The character that I liked the least was Waller's daughter. She kept calling Peacemaker a jerk and telling him off, even though she did some truly despicable stuff herself in this show such as manipulating Peacemaker's best friend to kill his Dad and setting him up. She was constantly acting like she was a better person even though she did some truly horrible stuff herself. And that made her seem very hypocritical. But yeah, I thought the show was great. Definitely better than all of the MCU shows too in my opinion. I love that it was rated R. What did you think of it?

@@EricCarter12 I also loved Peacemaker. It was everything that I wanted from a superhero streaming show that not a single MCU Disney+ show has managed to capture for me. As someone who never liked John Cena in a movie, he has really won me over with this character in both The Suicide Squad and this show. Also it was so funny. Vigilante always made me laugh with how insane yet also surprisingly unsettling he was. The fact that he never got annoying for me just shows how well James Gunn did this show. My favorite character might actually be Harcourt. Not only does Jennifer Holland do an amazing job, but she actually does the strong female character trope well and not in a ham fisted way that is just there to score points with certain audience member (a detail that the actress herself even said she made sure to avoid in order to make Harcourt likable). I also agree that they were all done so well though. Peacemaker, Murn, Vigilante, Economos and Adebayo all had great chemistry and all had great character arcs. Peacemaker’s father was an amazing villain. I almost kind of wish that he was the final threat instead of the Butterflies (though they were still cool villains). Robert Patrick is such an underrated actor and I’m so glad he got to shine in this. My favorite episode is definitely the sixth one where the Butterflies take over the police and Peacemaker’s father gets out of jail. It’s the episode where shit hits the fan for our characters and you really get to explore Peacemaker’s character in it even more than the previous episodes which already did a great job. Seeing Eagly attack the cops was also amazing for how brutal it was. It’s amazing that you were able to enjoy this show. I thought for sure that it was gonna end up not being your thing because of the comedic tone but I am so glad that I was wrong and you ended up loving it. This show is a 10/10 for me. Thanks so much for the reply man. Looking forward to more amazing content on this channel. :)

I think it looks AWESOME! I could never get into the MCU comedies. But I loved the first Shazam and the sense of control it had over its humour. It tried to make you laugh and cry. And that's what the MCU comedies don't do with perhaps the exception of Guardians 2. But even that was just a short scene at the end. Shazam 2 seems to continue the laugh and cry theme from the first movie going by the trailer. And I CAN'T WAIT to see it.

The thing is, you can get away with having someone survive when a good guy kills them. But when a BAD GUY kills someone, especially someone as evil as Darth Vader, you DO NOT have their victims survive. Especially not the SAME victim TWICE. That just makes the villain less threatening. And makes their future victims feel significantly less intense and frightening.

I think the reason why obi wan didn't kill Darth Vader is because if he dies in the dark side he will be gone forever and can't be a ghost like he was in the ending of return of the Jedi also the reason why he didn't kill Darth Vader is because of luke and he is the only one who can change Darth Vader and luke needs to be a Jedi and Darth Vader is his enimy which helps like become more powerful we saw what obi wan didn't in a new hope he killed himself on porpoise so that like becomes a Jedi and changes Darth Vader and obi wan also tells Darth Vader killed his father so that luke targets him even more so that's why obi wan didn't kill Darth vader

You always Talk about the inquisitor as liked by fans Even of they don‘t have watched the Clone war. But for me I think that I couldn‘t like him, because i haven‘t watched that and so haven‘t Spend that much time with him and that‘s why he felt flat and evil. But After all I personally really loved the Show!!! Exept for leia i didn‘t even liked her in the og Movies…
