Erick is great. All settings in my game are default. I guess that means I'm playing on medium difficulty. So worrying about who "has my back on the field of battle" doesn't seem to be a thing. Erick is great comedy relief in battle. I gave him a magstorm and now he has this "john wayne strut" and lots of tactical moves. It's hilarious and entertaining. He even has some funny comments sometimes. Today, during a landing, he popped up with "I hope whatever we find on this mission will be able to fit in the cargo holds" .. rofl.. guess he noticed I pick up lots of stuff. And, lol, giving him the magstorm makes him easier to find when he yells for help. rofl

Does Eric get mad if you do anything less than good? The goodies can get annoying sometimes, even while doing a good guy playthrough.

He won't get mad on the ship but he will run away on the ground if you hurt civilians. Just make sure to assign your companions to an outpost or to your ship. That's where you can find them after an "incident" 😁😁 And they won't be mad anymore if you sit and wait 24 hours.

Hi Russell! Its from the Rangers Questline. No spoilers, but you can lift the outfit from one of the NPC's. I stole the cowboy hat from someone's locker😁
