I also bought this unit and will probably return it. The unit seems well made. The minimalistic user manual is basically worthless. And there is no mention of a website where one can go for some further information. There is an email address listed for support...ya...have fun with that. So yes this unit will detect various strengths of a magnetic field or an electric field from a lamp or some gear. Wow, don't get too excited. But nothing really meaningful. And that is not surprising, for the specs on this unit, which is printed on the back of the box slays .....its measurement bandwidth is from 5Hz - 3,500 MHz. Therefore this unit is NOT able to detect the much higher GHz RF frequencies that would be worth while to detect the strength of at various distances. For that is where most of our modern personal electronic devices receive and emit RF. So, it can detect the low frequency RF, but that is not very useful. Therefore in my opinion this device is for the most part a toy. If I am wrong then maybe there is a video somewhere that was made by the manufacturer showing how to use this unit for its maximum effectiveness which I have yet to realize...and as others have also commented on.

It works, you clicked hold when it had a high reading which is why it stayed at the same reading and beeping no matter how you positioned it.

it seems like you are playing with this device trying to figure out how it works. it would be more helpful if you do all of that before making a video, and then once you understand thoroughly how this EMF meter works - then make a video teaching how it works. otherwise, it seem to be useless.

What is the difference between the electro and the h hold button you didn't really explain it much as far as what each button does and what it shows I have severe EMF issues in my apartment feel like I'm literally being microwaves and all electronics lights everything bother me I really need to understand like the average VPP button and then the sea/f button and also again what is the difference between the top e field and the age field don't really understand how this works and I got no using manual it came without one nice Amazon
