This is the best aviation video I've ever seen. The views of Crater Lake are stunning.

She deserves a museum retirement, not the scrapper.

If this tanker 60 belonged to Butler Aircraft during the late 70s/early 80s, I might have flown it. It's been too long to remember but 60 rings a bell and 66 as well. It seems like 66 was blue and yellow and 60 was red and white but I could easily be way off......... The engines were Wright R-3350s, 3350 cu.in. displacement, 18 cylinders (2 rows or 9), 3400 HP for takeoff @ 2800 RPM, 2900 HP continuous. They were supercharged and had power recovery turbines. There were 3, 6 cylinders each. They were not turbines like in a turbocharger, but they were parallel to the exhaust flow and used air deflection to generate power. They would add roughly 500 HP at takeoff power with very little back pressure. They had a gearbox in front, 16:7 engine to prop. It's really sad to see these old birds being retired, they were great planes!

From personal experience = addictive. Coming up thru about 45 inches of MAP, no other engine made that sound.

Beautiful aircraft for a piston engine.

I built a scale model of this fine plane. It is in the FBO at Grants Pass.
