Wow, these are some great tips! I did not know that you can defensively hot route your secondary players, without having to switch to/highlight/click on to them first!

@@josephgarcia5310 It seems that if you press Y/Triangle twice on defense, before the snap, it lets you select an individual player to hot route to a particular defensive assignment. You can also press right in the D-pad twice to individually hot route your linebackers.

For what it's worth, the pass rush and defense overall seem improved on current gen as well. I'm getting sacked about twice as much as last year and am getting to the QB more often with a 4-man rush.

It’s way more on next gen. I played current until literally today and I noticed a difference immediately. Next gen is a much better gameplay experience. Zones do what they are supposed to and the game feels more realistic.

Don’t hold turbo right away either, read your blockers, find that open lane and then go crazyyyy

Some running plays just don't work in madden you have to be using the right running play for that defense your opponent is showing you. Inside zone,stretch,trap work for me

Don’t use juke or spin often either. Cut using the left stick. You can stop on a dime with some rbs.

Now try doing these audibles in real time in a real game, it’s not that easy. Sometimes there’s no enough time before the offense snaps the ball to call all these defensive audibles. Am I right or wrong? Anyone have any tips for that?

It's all muscle memory, you just have to play until it's second nature. This play isn't a lot to set up at all. You get 5 seconds before the game lets your opponent snap the ball, that's plenty of time.

I’m running cover 3 and cover 1 against it and my cousin keeps beating me with that same play every fuckin time, it’s wide open. He won’t tell me the name of the play but it’s in trey open.

All Madden AI logic is rigged against the player. Doesn't matter how you play, the game wants you to lose. Player controlled DBs & WRs STILL WILL NOT ATTEMPT TO EITHER CATCH THE PICK OR CATCH A PASS. You can't possibly think this is a good game.

How the hell you have time to set all that up. People I play run no huddle or if they huddle up as soon as they get to the line they’re snapping it.

The main blitz setup is just 2 things, no amount of no huddling will prevent you from doing that. As far as further adjustments, you just gotta get faster with it. Sometimes no huddle will make it tough, in which case just run the main blitz or a stock coverage. Don't get caught up trying to do too much vs no huddle if you aren't fast enough yet.
