Im assuming you’re meaning NCAA Football 14, and i would strongly disagree with that. Yes there are hours and hours of fun to be had in Dynasty and Road to Glory, but the gameplay is nowhere near 2k5. Ball trajectory is way too flat, and linebackers can pick off passes intended 20 yards down field. The Hard Cuts mechanic is fun but too over the top.Also Mascot mode is fun as well, but its still not 2k5

I can’t believe how good 2k4 and 2k5 looked, the way the players moved was so smooth and looked better than current madden. I really hope they get all the details down in the next 2k game.

NFL has a deal with EA when it comes to making football simulation games. that's why all we get now Is Madden and why Madden doesn't try anymore. They have a monopoly on it

2k4 as well, played a whole game with 78 overall Rookie Carson Palmer and he had 360 yards with 6 tds and no ints. Everything other than body shape of the players, collision detection, and graphics are still light years ahead of Madden.... in a 20 year old game.

You know, I hear a lot about "If 2K were allowed to keep making games like 2K5, how great would it be?" Well, the team would have had to stay together, and Visual Concepts would have had to stay in business...who knows how they would have done with the next gen consoles? They might have been as disappointing as Madden has been...although I doubt it.

Playing on the original Xbox would give u the best performance for 2k4 and 2k5 . The latter games I mentioned had unlockable characters from past sega games and celebrities like David arquette Steve o sega characters like wolf and Jeffery from virtual fighter and axel stone from streets of rage .

I remember playing ESPN NFL 2K5 on my original Xbox and I played with my home team. What I did was I intentionally ran the wrong way to see if there's any reaction. It did. The fans were booing loud and the commentary guy was saying these things. He's going the wrong way! Maybe he got hit too hard! Give that guy a compass! Get that controller away the dog! And as soon as I ran out to the own end zone, he said this. He runs out and that's a Safety! It was funny to do that. ESPN NFL 2K5 to this day is still one of the greatest football video games of all time.

The presentation is was really set 2k apart on all their games. Especially with the ESPN presentation... EA has FOX at the time which I love too. I always likes EA's game play and feel better. I believe games went above and beyond for presentation and game features back then because you were limited on gameplay itself. I'll stand by this I don't believe that Madden or any sports game should be year to year anymore. The games are too big to make in one year. That's why their are so many bugs in the game. Great video man. You are definitely an inspiration for my channel.

I was always a 2k fan. I use to hate Madden in comparison. I was mad as hell when I had to switch. The way 2k moved compared to Madden was night and day.

2K was a huge generational leap, but 2K1 fixed the running game. I thought the Dreamcast versions had the best UI. Also 2K was a launch title, so it came out in 1999.

So their inaugural season was 2002. I think since they already had been approved as an official NFL team with uniforms and Logos, etc., they were able to be put in the game. I don't remember how they created the rosters for the team, if they were free agents in the game tossed to the roster or just random computer generated players. NFL Fever 2002 may have also had the Texans in the game. When NFL Quarterback Club '99 released in 1998, they had a team for the Cleveland Browns as well, even though their expansion team season wouldn't start until the 1999 season.
