By making college basketball again, people could play and get to know players and programs they normally wouldn't. By doing this they find players to follow and get to know the top prospects before they move on to the NBA and that then gives them people to follow as rookies rather than a bunch of people they never heard of before. That could help the NBA viewership ratings because of this.

I wanna buy MLB the show to see how I like it. Baseball games got to technical and it kinda killed the fun. I use to love Triple Play back in the day. The batting had gotten to technical. CFB brought me back to gaming I am gonna pick up MLB and see how I like it.

2K gotta be the ones to do it though. I need to take a kid from scouting him as a freshman highschool baller all the way through a draft and career in NBA2kwhatever year this happens. CFB 25 missed by not allowing exports but everything else about the game was on 🎯. I'd be forced to purchase both games every year like I did in past.

This will be a huge undertaking for any dev studio if you think about it. NIL for every player, team, environments, etc etc. at least the base (2k) is there but it will take so much creative work. If it started today I’d assume it would be 3-4 years before we actually see it.

A completely underrated aspect of this is that the old ncaa games didn’t have an actual in depth career mode. If they let you play out you college career, INCLUDING MARCH MADNESS, and then allowed you to import your player into 2k, it would 100% sell more than 2k. It would be just like NCCA was to madden this year. It’s a new feature and makes the game way more immersive, that alone will make the game sell

Love that this series may potentially come back, and as a basketball fan who buys 2K every year I would definitely buy this day 1. NGL I truly feel like EA should make the next college basketball game, and bring back live as well. They did everything right live 19, many of the features and animations we have in 2k now, was on live first. 2k just had began dominating the basketball game scene, and the new era of gamers are more children who didn’t get to experience the true nba lives.
