They are going to work on additional game modes post-launch, and for Duck Chess, you could use one of the extra Queens provided. But I hope they make a specialized Duck piece as an early 2025 (late 2024) add-on.

That's really cool. I found myself coloring along on the overhead cam and the kinda and queens look nearly identical from directly above. Aside from that it was a neat flawless content experience!!!

My wife is getting me the chess up board for Father’s Day and I’m stoked. Just started playing chess a few months ago and I’m excited to see what this board teaches me

I am enjoying these. I would say though the overhead angle was a little too off-axis left-and-right. If possible, I think it would look better if it was off-axis up-and-down -- meaning it would look better closer to the actual eye-line as if the camera is playing.

I’d order one of these! The only tricky thing would be under a minute chaos. I would love to be able to review my OTB games though. For me that would be the biggest benefit.

I think it might be worth trying an isometric view of the board taking up 60% to 100% of our screens, with your non-green-screened torso on either the left side if not overlaid. Though I'm sure you already tried and just don't post if you don't like the result.

Top-down view of the board is a bad way to show it off. It ends up looking like a 2D board - the very thing potential customers want to get away from. The other video had a much better (angled) view. Also, that video had the Alien Gambit which is worth at least a thousand extra sales!

I'll take the bait... Scrabble is more stochastic and has the limitation of being played in a certain language. Chess however, is deterministic and does not discriminate players of different countries. Both games can be played with high complexity and various strategies. I understand you prefer Scrabble over chess, but saying that chess sucks is just childish. Go watch Scrabble and rid us of your negativity.

I like these videos, Eric. I an thinking of getting this for chess training. Do you think the pieces/board are big enough to help with OTB training for tournaments? I know the boards used in tournaments are quite bigger than this one. Thanks.
