1952 Styleline Deluxe survivor driver barn/garage find

1952 Styleline Deluxe I bought out of Wyoming. 54k original miles, sat in garage for 20+ years. I changed the tires, oil in both the engine and air filter and drove it.

The green thing with the spray nozzle is for putting a lid quid in and pressurize tha container through the shearer valve and spray the lo Iquitos. Works great for wF 40 or penetrant. Great car to pit a little money into and save.

Hi Eric, - I've got a 52' as well that was mothballed from 81 until when i picked it up in the fall of 2013. Body is a little more beat up, but minimal rust and great patina. Rolling restoration and 62k miles. New tires, plugs and oil for me, and I need to fix the fuel sender. Great car! Thanks for posting yours

The little green can is a vintage water spray bottle for the windshield, it was used in gas stations in the 50's to clean your windshield

Could the green cylinder be an emergency air cylinder for a tire. All it needed was a hose with valve stem connectors at each end.

Hey, great car!! I will be working on a 49 Oldsmobile 4-door soon. It's not as nice as yours, though. If I might suggest one thing...I would get rid of the plastic fuel filter in the engine compartment, and replace it with a metal one. Plastic can get hot, melt or crack, and then disaster happens. Yes, I've seen it happen...

I completely agree. That little thing has caused me problems. It has actually fallen apart inside of itself before. They are junk.
