At 72 & riding for 59 years! just got the E ride pro ss 2.0. love the balance, low speed power & jumps right now, no clutch or shifter so bush whacking & rock crawling is great, all most to easy & Maintenace free compared to gas Bicks!

I bought an Eride Pro SS from Eride directly and had no issues contacting customer service before buying the bike for clarification on certain aspects of the purchase. However upon placing the order the bike has not arrived although it is a couple days past the estimated arrival date, there is no charge on my card although a confirmation email was sent, and nobody at Eride has responded to my calls or emails for the past few days. Is this a common occurrence? What can I do to make sure that A) I get the bike B) If I buy from a separate vendor such as Amped bikes now, I won’t be double charged for the original bike as well. This was supposed to be a birthday gift and so I am hoping to get this sorted as soon as possible. Any suggestions?

wow that is really interesting because I got these questions directly from ERide Pro team. Sorry you are running into that issue. If I was you, I'd keep calling and emailing until I got confirmation. Or you can try calling your bank to make sure nothing gets pulled at a later date, and then go to RevRides or Amped Bikes. I got mine at Revrived orders and shipped to my house within less than a week. They also have the discount for Warp 9 handlebars like I have. Hope that helps!

Hey yall. Great video, Would like to add some information if i may. Im 200 miles in. I had issues with belt noise. I loosened the motor and adjusted slack on the belt. It helped with some noise. Now i am having an issue with a 0700 error code. Still to get that resolved. Seems like a loose connection on the throttle. The swing arm is rubbing the frame slightly. I love this bike. Would buy again in a minute. Just hoping the 0700 is an easy fix. I have the leaking forks also. But, they seem to be sealing up or they ran out of fuild?

Dope vid once again bro 🔥 I just got 241's for my bike but yet to get them! Bought a edirtybike direct mount stem and the warp 9 stem lock and it made a huge difference with the warp9 bars if you're looking for a bit more rise. Still yet to make a video on mine but I'm almost at 400 miles already (and a few loops 😂) lol

@@Jank.stunts I ended up getting 19 x 2.75 front and rears off revzilla. The 3.5 while technically fits, requires some wearing of the tire sidewall to make it work. I heard ChargedCycleWorks was making a wheel adapter to make it work but not sure if they've released it yet. 3.5 on rear would prolly be heavy tho, so I just decided to get the 2.75s

Thanks for the informative video man, honestly super helpful. However, I have one small criticism, spinning around the bike, I'm getting motion sickness. I think it would help the overall look of your video to reduce the speed of your camera movement.

Hey there I just took them off and painted over them friend. A couple coats of white paint every 2 hours and then a 2 coats of clear enamel every 2 hours

Yes, question here. Could you go on the highways/freeways/expressways with the Erie pro without trouble? It’s an “e-bike” yet it can easily keep up with traffic would handle those roads perfectly so I’m just wondering…thoughts? Thanks!

@@Qgrkfkcpm hey that’s a great question! If you were to register it then yes but I’d highly recommend not taking it on freeways. Main roads where the speed limit is less than 50MPH would be ideal and safest. In a 65pmh road or freeway people normally speed past and you won’t be as visible as a car so be careful.

I think its a perfect bike tbh. Eco mode is very friendly and even at full throttle yanks it barely lifts the front tire. Enough to give you some fun but not kill you until you learn the bikes power. If you can ride a pedal bike throw it in eco and slowly build up your skill level! Its also pretty maintenance friendly

1: Does Eride have any plans to swap the battery connector currently found on the bikes (the same connector found on the surron) for something rated for more amps and anti-spark technology, like say the QS8? I've already seen reports of the stock connector melting, getting stuck in the battery, hard to remove online. Upgrading this connector seems really beneficial. 2: What are the exact battery cells used in the stock battery, unconfirmed but I believe samsung 50S's? 3: is there any chance in the future Eride will offer an upgraded battery, with say more capacity or higher discharge cells (molicel p45b or P50b?) as an upcharge from the stock battery. Modders have already found the limit of the stock battery, offering the chance to pay the slight increase at the time of purchasing the bike with these cells would mean never needing to upgrade the battery, as they could provide enough power to hit the limits of even aftermarket controllers and motors. You pay slightly more when buying to not need to spend a lot more down the road on a aftermarket battery. 4: Has eride considered offering a "bare bones" kit with the frame, swing arm and few supporting parts so you can choose what aftermarket parts to put on the bike yourself. That way customers are saving money as they can put the savings towards the upgraded parts to begin with.

Omg the longer i watch this video the sadder I'm getting. That chain is too loose. That is wayyyyy more than a 1/4 or 1/2 inch of play because you pull from the middle of the chain not near the sprocket where you attempted to test slack.

Chain tension looks fine to me. I have mine set up almost the same slack and don't have any issues with slapping plastics or swingarm and chain has never popped. It doesn't have the same geometry as a dirt bike so it doesn't need a super loose chain but IMO 1/4 inch is way too tight

@@BlaiseFPV I agree about the geometry. It's because of the Jack shaft and swing arm relationship. But this guy had almost an inch of play near the sprocket which means in the middle of the chain where you're supposed to test the tension he probably has 1 1/2" or more of slop. 1/4" may seem tight but rolling resistance is minimal with the right chain and maintenance. Children always cry about power and kilowatts as if this is some sort of bigdik competition but I think the best cheapest upgrades you can make right off the bat is tires/sprocket/chain/brakes. Next would definitely be suspension but that's not cheap...

Thanks for the insight! I'll check my chain again when I get home but honestly the bike store didn't have any issues with the chain and you have to keep in mind too that the chain gets tight as you sit on the bike. In the video I wasn't sitting on it. And it hasn't reduced my speed or power in my bike. It tightens when pressure is applied so if there is minimal movement on it when no weight is applied, then it can damage alot more.
