Its awesome that you have a snowblower, i bet folks who dont have one now will have one before the next storm!!!! Shoveling SUCKS!!!!

I agree shoveling sucks lol. This snowblower is 4 years old. Every year prior to this year it was used very little cause we really have had a huge amount of snow. Normally we get somewhere between 80 - 100 inches the entire winter !! lol this year we got more than that just in December !!

This has been a crazy winter so far. As of this yesterday Feb 1, 2018 we have received a total of 143.8 inches !! And about 120 of that was in December !! We only have a few more inches to go and we will have reached / broken the record for snowfall in an entire season !! And this is only Feb 2nd !! The weird thing is Lake Erie was almost totally froze over which cuts down on the heavy"lake effect" snowstorms. However it is now only 50% frozen over which means there is more possible lake effect snow that could get us. It will be interesting to see what the total will be for this season.

I was kind of wondering about that. To freeze, or not to freeze over. I'm at the hub of the great lakes and Lake Superior is far from frozen over. I don't get as much lake affect as you. I think it's because Lake Erie is much warmer and there's alway going to be that air/water temperature difference. Cheers.

I ordered a snow rake on Amazon that should be here today or tomorrow. As soon as it get's here I need to try and get some of that snow off the roof. It scares me when I see how much is up there. That will be an interesting video lol
