Some general information on Monroe County's System:
The Federal Signal 2001-SRNs in the Monroe area are used to alert for both weather and emergencies at the Fermi II Nuclear Powerplant in nearby Frenchtown Township. Monroe County also has a series of Voice/Alert sirens scattered through the remainder of the county. Bedford Township has their own system of 2001s, but tests with the county.
