Dont know if it should be in the precon build, but you can do a 3-card combo with Grim Guardian, Warehouse Tabby/Knight of Doves, and Screams from Within.

Im going to be trying Scrollshift in my Eriette deck. Think it got forgetten about from MoM but lets you instant speed bounce a creature or enchantment and draws a card. Helps reset a good aura if the creature its enchanting is about to die or a better target for it gets cast.

So how come you stayed away form the impetus/vow enchantments? Feel like they are easy fits since they goad big threats while leaning in to the game plan. Particularly ghoulish impetus since it recycles itself

Vizkopa Guildmage and Warlock Class (Level 3) are great in addition to the resonator to get extra drains.

I've read that 'beginning of X step' triggers happen all at once, so you'd have to deal damage to your opponents before the end step. Eriette's damage trigger wouldn't interact with Warlock Class

@@vectorstrike The ending phase has two steps: End step: abilities that trigger "at the beginning of the end step" go on the stack. This is the last chance players have to cast instants or activate abilities this turn.[31][57]

I think it could be a fun political play to slap beneficial auras on your opponent's creatures. If they can't attack you but get big buffs with something like Ethereal Armor or Battle Mastery will make them eager to smack someone else, since it's not only the pragmatic thing to do, it gives your opponent a golden bridge in Sun Tzu's parlance.

the only challenge is that once Eriette is not in play those creatures are gunning right for you!

Cool looking deck! I just gotta add though is there any reason for Feed the Swarm in a black/ white deck considering the crazy amount of options you have for creature and enchantment removal? And Reprive is an odd choice. I'd personally replace both for more card draw though.

versatility is always useful, regardless of power level. being able to hit anything is ++ good.

@@CommanderMechanic From what I can tell you have versatile removal covered, adding a subpar choice regardless of its versatility seems plain wrong (again especially in this color combination). I'd still rather add two pieces of card draw, like auras that replace themselves for example, in order to dig thru your deck and find those versatile cards.

It's really too bad Eriette is B/W. She would be amazing in a Lynde Cheerful Tormentor curse deck. Maybe I'll look into if there are enough decent curses in B/W to build Eriette curses instead.

You're not wrong but politically it could be just as good if you stick a beneficial aura on an opponent's creature. Sure they can't attack you but if you give an opponent the ability to smack another opponent really hard they'll often be all too happy to take advantage of the opportunity.
