I loved the original for many years, but for me this is by far the best rendition of this song. Not in the sense that it was better sung or better played, because it's one of the most iconic songs for a reason, but in the sense that vocals, music, performance and video made me feel the desperation expressed in the lyrics in a way original never did. Brilliant work from Erik and Jona! Thanks for a great reaction as always

Erik is realky outdoing himself here. Same can be said of the piano by Jonah.Before this the version by Geoff Castellucci was my favourite. Now I have 2, very different interpretations. The Animals is also a cover, the song goes way back into folksong origin.
