Man to say I’m happy that he’s okay and walking away is an understatement! Dale indirectly has saved so many lives all these years. So thankful for safer barriers & head and neck restraints, as well as the cars. If not for them, I’m not so sure Erik would be giving a post race interview. I can’t help but notice with this hit, just like Blaney at Daytona, how we all kinda get silent for a moment. That angle of impact is silent-ing and forever with us.

This new car is BS. This car is testing the human bodies ability to sustain enormous impacts. @@drain6390 Going into the corners the drivers have to back off the rear of the car in front of them, the 43, 42,19,11 and 54 did that, the 23 didn't (1:41 - 1:44) & (4:37 - 4:39) gives a great view of that. this one is on Bubba. once the 43 & 23 got that loose there was nowhere for the 42 to go except through them. I'd like to blame this on JHN, but just can't for this one.
