Apparently this use to be one of the prefight "pageantries." I don't know if it was done in places other than California and Mexico as I see it in nearly all west coast fights taking place at least before the 1980's

Justin Vill he was a monster in his hay day and this was a WBC Convention so they have him a bit so tough defense .Eddie in his prime would have went 12 with Terrible

Oscar Llanos even in his prime he was WAY out of Morales’ league. Unless Eddie would have gotten 4-5 lucky punches he never would win against prize fighters. But he was tough. I can’t believe the ref let him absorb so much unnecessary punishment. Morales took it easy on him.
