Her husband was the only one that had acces to her account. This was her second marriage. In her first marriage she had her own company. It had something to do with boats. But in that marriage she also wasn’t in controle of her accounts and had to ask him for money if she wanted to buy something. Some woman see this as normal.

@@Khyarro there's one recorded phone call with a creditor with Tom asking for more time and saying that Erika's career was about to take off. This has caught my attention. Now we know that Tom registered the money transfered to Erika's LLC as a loan. She certainly had to sign papers consenting to this. It looks like Tom funded her career expecting a payback, and that in the end BOTH were gambling on this whole thing. Perhaps Erika didn't know Tom was defrauding clients but she did know he was taking debt while she painted the picture that money was not a problem in her life. They were each other's enablers. I also believe Tom had let her know that she would walk out with nothing in a divorce, and this is something she said in a interview years before all these problems. I believe Tom was abusive but she also made him increase financial risks by accepting all that money while she co signed a lot of loans.
