Erika, just came across your channel and binged watched all of your videos. Both you and Nick have persevered and overcome obstacles which have caused other PCT'ers to throw in the proverbial towel!. Some days it's give yourself a break while other days it's "embrace the suck then get the **** over it". Glad to see that you're back out on the trail...remember...YOU GUYS CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Hang in there. That’s a mentally challenging adventure. Not to mention the physical and emotional part of it. You’ve already done the hardest part... the desert and Sierra. Take the time you need to rest and think about why you are out there. May God bless you and give you strength.

The forecast for Wash is a hot and dry summer with the winter more mild than last year. You won't have to worry about the snow up here more overcast day with lite rain all day.

The beginning of this video made me glad I decided to not take the arc haul and go with my osprey atmos 50. I could tell in pre hikes that those shoulder straps suck and were going to really dig in with a decent weight loadout

Perpetual Vanergy yeah, they do suck haha. I ended up ditching the make-shift Therm-a-Rest pads and got some Velcro on shoulder pads from zpacks which helped a ton. But the straps on the arc haul were definitely something I hated. It was a design flaw really, the middle skinny strap just digs right in and flattens the padding overtime. It felt like I was carrying all the weight of my backpack on spaghetti straps
