Demolition Ranch | Head to Head shoot on Dueling Tree

Matt Carriker from ‪@DemolitionRanch‬ issued a challenge to me a week ago. He said he would "smoke" me at dueling tree. I accepted the challenge and spent the last week learning and practicing. I reached out to ‪@MiculekDotCom‬ and he was able to meet up with me and give me some very good pointers. Well, today we find out if Matt will indeed "smoke" me or not. Enjoy!

Ya but Nick is not a competition long-range shooter with a beer belly, coffee in one hand cigar in the other while sniping down range. He is a shoot to survive kind of guy. Competition guys go to the range everyday he went to the battlefield were his life was the trophy he earned.

Good job Sir, looks like you took all the advice to heart. I didn't see many high shots so it seems you stayed on that dot. Have to question the load though...it might have been a little to light to punch the paddles with full force because even solid center hits, while flipping the paddle, it was a slow flip. I'd be thinking a 115gr or 124 gr moving ~1050 FPS would be a good load.

Great job Mr. Cortina. Don't listen to that old guy Jerry. What does he know. He has only been shooting since the creation of dirt. He has won a zillion shooting competitions around the world in probably every class of shooting ever invented. He has probably forgotten a lot about shooting than most people will ever know or learn. His trigger finger has been maybe classified as a lethal weapon - And It is probably faster than full auto.
