I love this song and have done some attempts to cover it myself (not as good as this one obviously). But what I missed in this cover is 1. the build-up at beginning, this cover started out too big imo. 2. Those high notes in the end were too raw for me. Based on the rest of the song, Id guess that this man can hit those notes with his head voice.

Dolly would be the first to give Eric the praises he so richly deserves and would join him in singing the song. His flow is liquid at times and range is brilliant! IMO, No One has ever touched Dolly’s version - her personal deep from within softness, emotion, pain, thankful memories when she sang it so many nights on tour. Until I heard Eric! He flipped and projected strength, raw emotion, commanded “listen to me and feel the words and music! It is each and everyone of us.” Two voices, two styles, two unique individuals and talents bringing us to the same realisation - music, a person, a song of any genre reaches everyone in their own way. It brings memories, smiles, tears, what if’s, pain, everything inside of you pours out some way. Just enjoy what you like, try something new sometimes, live the moment and sing along! ❤

That literally made me cry 😢 my husband sang rock and roll, and he’d get up in the morning and play the piano and sing to me while I was getting ready for work. He has stage 4 cancer and has only weeks left. Oh how I wished I could hear him play and sing again

By the end he was asking for your name. It's so rare to hear a great rock voices in (Dec) 2024. I hope at some point you tour Texas. I miss great concerts with real voices not using auto tune. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Happy New Year! And, may 2025 be your greatest Year of monetary rewards and success!
