KILLER weathering job. And great workmanship and artistry. It's tricky just going off of photo references as there were two Orcas the hero and stunt rigged boat but you did a primo job.
@ErikHollander Жыл бұрын
Thanks. And yes, there are some differences between the two orcas. I tried to stick with the functioning orca as far as proportions and detailing. I appreciate the compliment.

I had the privilege of seeing you create this ‘masterpiece’. The lengths you went to get the detail down is amazing. The blown up still shots posted everywhere the get right is amazing.

A wonderful model... Im building this boat myself right now, and its a fun model to build, as you can really put a lot of detail into it. Mine is about 30 centimeters in length, I think yours are bigger... I like the blood-stains on the transom, but I dont feel for cutting myself on purpose... Greetings from Sweden!

Thanks Jesse! I'm glad to see you're still making Orcas! And I'm happy to hear some of my techniques worked for you. I saw some of your pics. Fantastic!!! By the way, where did you get your bridge-mounted shark jaws? Let me know if you can get another. I 'd love to replace the one I currently have on mine. :) Again, great work, my friend.

I have a pretty good model of the Orca that Savvyboats made for me, but yours is simply astonishingly fantastic! I'd offer to buy it, but I don't think you should ever sell it. Pass it along to family. Beautiful work!

Thanks for saying so Robert. I guess for ORCAphiles like us, The line should go “we’re gonna need a smaller boat.”

Thx Shaun. It was a surreal, amazing experience, not gonna lie. JAWS remains timelessly intriguing among its fans. It was a tremendous honor to be one tiny part of my favorite film’s documentation legacy.

Jefri still remembers brother's video on Erik's you tube channel, when his brother sent a letter to Jefri, brother recently built a model of a boat that was seen in a film about a shark called Jaws, it turned out to be a film about a fish. This shark is the film, Sis, Erik also included in the letter that you sent to Jefri with a size of 3 X 3 feet (+ 91 X 91 cm), it turns out that this is the boat that Erik created, Jefri was amazed to see the boat that Erik had built. make this, it's really awesome.

Hello Jefri!!! So good to hear from you, young brother! It has been a long time. I pray you are well. I'm glad you like my boat. It was quite the project. This is indeed the boat I wrote about in the letter. I want you to know I was honored to sponsor you those many years ago. How old are you now? It's amazing how small the world has become with the internet. Where are you living these days?
@jefrisubagia88032 жыл бұрын
@@ErikHollander Yes, Jefri likes to see the ship that Kak Erik gave a few years ago by letter to Jefri, Jefri is now 24 years old, Jefri is now still living in Indonesia, Jefri is currently studying, Sis is taking a bachelor's degree at the Indonesian Community Development University (UPMI), Jefri taking Vocational Law/Faculty of Law, Jefri is now in his fourth semester, and Jefri's dream is to become a Law Enforcer (Lawyer) in Indonesia, bro, can Jefri ask for Erik's contact, who can be contacted? so that Jefri doesn't lose communication with Erik's brother.

What an amazing orca Also i didn’t know that was you in the photo of the orca (how was it being on the boat and how did they let you on it) and you said it was destroyed the following year when you said 1987 but I’m pretty sure it was destroyed in 1997
