Those phrogs appeared to have a crew that looked like active duty marines. I showed up to VMM-364 when they had sent out the last phrog to the marine corps museum. That was actually really great to see. Do you know if they had active duty marines in those phrogs?

The CH-46’s are owned by the National United States Armed Forces Museum here in Houston. The crews are not active duty. While it can vary depending on the FAA representative at the show, generally active duty personnel can not fly on civilian aircraft during a show for liability reasons.

@ that’s helpful. Yea I saw the HMM-364 color and purple fox, I was taken back at first. I was at VMM-364 and deployed with them as an Osprey mechanic. That unit has a lot of great history in it. Home away from home one could say.
