I was on Naproxen for years for knee arthritis and was introduced to Diclofenac 1% less than a month ago and it’s WONDERFUL !!!!! I wish I knew about it sooner 👍🏾

Veterans healthcare prescribes this. I've been using this for at least 3 years on nerve pain and muscle pain. I do track how much I use because it's an nsaid and I'm older. No side effects and some solid relief.

I was taking Meloxicam for about 3 years and prescription Ibuprofin for about 7 years I found out about 6 months I was in stage 4 kidney failure. My kidney Dr took me off Meloxicam and put me farxiga (which is for the kidney, not pain). So I started using Diclofenac (I use about a 1/4 of what the dosage shows) on my shoulder hands and knees and it works great and it seems my kidney failure has gotten better as well.
@edgaracevedo96583 ай бұрын
This has me concern as Ive been using 15MG of Meloxican since 2019. I use it for 5 days out of the week, off it for 3 or 4 days and back again.

I had a heart attack in 2015 due to SCAD, not blockage. I was prescribed this med today, and I gladly rubbed it into my shoulder. I felt immediate relief. I was also given a shot for pain at my doctor's office today. I don't plan to use this solution very often, but it's good to know I have it just in case. It certainly beats taking 5 Advil at at time. THAT'S how much pain I've been in. I've also started an anti-inflammatory diet. That helps fight against arthritis.

Does the gel penetrate? I mean how does it treat gout, like the crystals? Its the reason why I drink Declofenac
@JohnB-dr8sk6 ай бұрын
It's not going to work for Gout. Gout is a kidney disorder involving crystals within the bloodstream that get deposited in lower joints. The only effective treatment for gout is Allopurinol, Colchicine, Diet and drinking lots of water to flush out your kidneys. Cherry juice and Vitamin C also reduced uric acid in the bloodstream.

I am sooo excited that this stuff works!! For the past several months, my middle finger has been hurting. I can tell that it's arthritis. Doc checked it out at the VA and had some of this sent to me. Just tried it and within a few minutes, the pain has subsided, I can bend my fingers all together, and the smell is very light and refreshing! No smelling medicinal!! Totally stoked! Thank you, Dr. Richardson for explaining this in detail for us.

I was prescribed 3%. Use it very, very sparingly, rub it in well, and wash your hands afterward (unless your hands are the part of your body receiving treatment).
