Thank you! I like the changes to the daily duo! I agree it would be nice to have dates on week at a glance. I use the snap in pockets to keep school year calendar and individual schedules for some of my students. I used and X-Acto knife and cut down along the seam on the right about half way and it made it easier to put things in and take out, but they don’t fall out.

I've been buying the academic planner for the last 3 years and I'll be a senior in college in the fall, and for the first time I'm considering getting a horizontal Life Planner instead. The layout seems very similar to the academic planner and I think I could go without the extra assignment pages at the start of each month. I feel like it's time to transition to a "big girl planner"!

I forgot to add my one minor gripe with EC: they need more generous coils to house all the fun snap-in’s, especially if you now have the option to add on 40 additional pages to bulk. My go-around is always to order the full 18 month to secure the biggest coil, since I always do a july-start new planner release, I cut out the weeklies of the excess to give me coil room to add a custom notepad inside the cover & snap in sticky notes but still retain the monthlies for future planning.

I LOVE the new Evolve EC colors. I’m kind of nuts cus I have EC 6 ring blended with Full Focus daily inserts and my own design of an hourly by week spread (there's cranes on it - go figure 😁.) I change what I use depending on the week. (I always use the EC Horizontal at least once a week lol). Thanks for your vids. I appreciate your rundown of EC and Full Focus. This is a great rundown. I love how you encourage people to try all the things until they find the things that work (responding specifically to your comments on the Dashboard). Keep it up.

Amanda I just watched your video. It was FANTASTIC! It answered all my questions, but the price of the DD. However, I did find it in one of the comments. I’m so glad you compared the 2 CVs and measured the lines! I’ve had the CV in A5, but moved to A5 DD because I needed more room. I was thinking about trying it again in the 7x9, but after seeing you measure it, and there’s not much difference, I’m staying with the A5 DD. I do recoil it though because I put it on an 18 mo. A5 coil and add the whole years monthly tabs. I teach, so I want to be able to add events throughout the year. Question - will the cool, new ruler come in the A5? Thanks again for an amazing video! @@ellycewarns6464 It isn't anything fancy. I am old school and still write everything down!! I have always just used a notebook to write my monthly budget split up on the 1st and 15th since that's how our paydays were in the military. The other notebook I use like a checkbook register where I can record everything going in/out of my bank acts. I like the EC petite folio system since its like a travelers notebook system. I know all my financial things (budget, bank accounts etc ) are all in one neat folio. Again- nothing fancy I just have always been a pen and paper person and enjoy having all that information right where I need it.

I like the little folio I got from EC its very basic but its great for what I need. It can hold 4 of the petite books which is nice. I actually bought another one to hold a journal and that worked well also.

The week at a glance question was answered in the affiliate town hall tonight-- they said they wanted it to be flexible. SO you could use it for the week before or the week after. Lets say you had left it blank you could re-use it for either...for means or memories, or gratitude, goals or the standard appointments. Such a cool concept to do the sampler pack but I question why ONLY with LifePlanner purchase! If I don’t know what layout I like, why would I buy a layout to find out what layout I like? 😂 I know, BST exists and EC probably knows too! I personally would prefer to have it as a purchase option or a free with $50 minimum or something. Still - a great idea and I hope it helps others find the right planner fit for them!

Ever thought of using those three snap in pockets in a notebook that you use as like a travel journal or budget book to keep track of receipts, etc. that you collect. So that way, that are not loose and get lost.

What a wonderful review before launch! 🚀 I am a Happy Planner and a Junk Journal person so I am sitting here wondering if I need another company to add to my insanity, oh I mean organized life? 😂 Here is the problem, I love Etta Vee and all of her stuff from EC! And I am absolutely loving that clear front folio and wondering if it will fit my HP Disc system in any of the sizes? 🤔 Of course I could take it apart and disk it up by adding in some sort of Terri Ingenuity? I am already thinking about that. Yes, it sounds like a lot but I spend hours Franken Planning my perfect Happy Planner so why not add a few more hours? I usually only Disc up 3 months at a time so that would help spread out the amount of work at once. See how I am slowly talking myself into this? Wow! I am loving the changes to the daily duo! I was worried they were going to label the dashboard pages like they have for the monthly planner but I'm so glad to see them still unlabeled. Simplified remains my perfect daily layout but Daily Duo is definitely giving them a run for their money!

I'm a little disappointed that the weekly overview isn't on the same spread as Monday so that Saturday and Sunday could be on the same spread, but really, that's so minor. The changes in general are great, though, and I bet next year the weekly overview is dated.

Metallic markers look better on dark colored paper. Like a black paper. The sliver probably would stand out more if you wrote on the colored parts of the pages and not the white sections.

The silly thing is having to order an actual LifePlanner to get the sampler pack. Wish it was available with any order over a certain dollar amount. This way we have the chance to try out the different layouts first, then choose which LifePlanner to actually get. This seems to make more sense in my opinion.

The majority of US planners are still Sunday start on the monthly and always Monday start on the weekly. But there are many planner brands flipping that around...the planner world is really divided on that in the US.
