FILM DESCRIPTION:
Julia Roberts stars in this legal drama based on the true story of a woman who helped win the largest settlement ever paid in a direct-action lawsuit. Erin Brockovich (Roberts) is a single mother of three who, after losing a personal injury lawsuit, asks her lawyer, Ed Masry (Albert Finney), if he can help her find a job. Ed gives her work as a file clerk in his office, and she runs across some information on a little-known case filed against Pacific Gas and Electric. Erin begins digging into the particulars of the case, convinced that the facts simply don't add up, and persuades Ed to allow her to do further research; in time, she discovers a systematic cover-up of the industrial poisoning of a city's water supply, which threatens the health of the entire community. she is no beauty and certainly no queen. He nose is so big at the bottom, not the top like true royalty. they superimposed her mouth to look bigger. In real life her mouth is average. And if u get to know her good u notice she has a very slight cross eye problem. She did get some plastic surgery to look like the woman she bullied for many years. She is one of the nastiest bullies in real life and will stoop at nothing to achieve her goals which include possible money laundering. That check was not really hers but someone she knew very well who was being tortured and abused by her father she was also freezing and starving.

The acting in this scene is amazing. The tiny little hint of a smile when she took the bait, the feigned disinterest while she was ranting, the way he casually dropped the cheque on her desk, and the phrasing of "because you *suck* at it" - the whole scene is brilliant.

I read the comments seems like some complained about Erin getting 2M for the record she earned all of it.
