This helped me a lot doing my baby freeze❤. I'm merely just a 12-year-old student and is loving breaking so much😊. I did it using these tips and the fact that I'm only a begginer. Thanks for this video💚

These are very good tips! I still can't do it but it's better after watching this. Also is most of the weight suppose to be on my hands or head? I can't tell if my arms are just weak or if it's something else
@voice_0f_reason
@voice_0f_reason 6 жыл бұрын
NotNotAHuman On your hands, never your head. You could hurt your neck if you do that. Try doing some push ups to up the strength of your arms.

It's weird that I can balance decently on handglide freeze or pilot freeze on one hand, but baby freeze remains unstable. Hopefully this video helps :) thx

Breakdance Decoded it seems for most people baby freeze is easier than handglide (pilot freeze)... However they are completely different... Mastering the so called "difficult" one won't do any help to the other one, and vice versa. It's just too hard to keep my body in a good alignment on a baby freeze, and I'm also unable to put my legs on my arms

When I first learned how to Baby, I actually learned to stab on the side of my butt instead of my side. When I need to lean into Baby, I usually stab like how I said above, but if I was going from Turtle/Cricket/Pilot (basically one hand Turtle), my stab would be in my side (like how everyone else does it)
@ErinHuangBDD
@ErinHuangBDD 7 жыл бұрын
Yep, stabbing in the side makes it easier to hold the freeze

I've only been practicing stabs for the past two months and I have to say even tho my wrist feels stronger, it still feels very stressed and the palm hurts when practicing freezes for like 20min. Is that normal? What are other people's experience?
@joshuaper1

Bro grab the earth hard with ur fingers like its a giant basketball. Dont lean on your bones.. thats called boning hella bad for ur joints yes ur arm is against your body but should be actively pushing to preserve the 45 angle between your fore arm and upper arm.. when u do this ull feel your strength improving..
@nelsonta00
@nelsonta00 7 жыл бұрын
Joshua Peri Wouldn't airchair or sidechair need me to lean on my arm horizontally? But yeah you're right, I've been practicing to do babyfreeze without head on the ground so most of the weight went to the bone. I should go back to basic and then come back to it when I build enough muscle memory
@joshuaper1
@joshuaper1 7 жыл бұрын
Yes you are stabbing but always have your muscles activated as if your going to push up out of it.. your freezes will feel lighter it forces your weight distribution to be directly under your center, if u like stacking this will put more of a grip on the freeze or ensuring the sweet spots of the position because ur one muscle vs a rag doll on stilts.. i had to learn the hard way jus like u.. if your wrist hurts push more with your finger tips.. the more u engage the fingertips the less stress on the wrist.. n roll the shit out of that muscle behind ur arm pit. Somehow that muscle is directly related to a lot if wrist complications. Kujo said the muscles in our forearms are so tight that their nearly impossible to stretch, so put a lot of effort into your wrist stretches.. listen to your body.. listen feel n flow my brotha
@nelsonta00

Joshua Peri You're right, I was treating my stabbing arm like one leg holding a rag doll up. thanks for your wisdom. I do feel noticeable difference when I'm keeping my muscle active. A little tiring for now but I get much better stability.

Day 2 practicing chair freeze with my legs off the ground and my stabbing arm's muscles activated: Besides minor stress, there's no pain between the stabbing arm's wrist to tricep. Gripping the ground hard gives much desired balance on my freezes. Stresses wrist a bit but that's because I'm leaning back more since there's more balance to spare. Dude you solved my problem! I can almost call myself a bboy! Nah, no where near being one atm LUL! Thanks Again!
