Thankfully for the yeedi vac 2 pro model I purchased in 2023, the dustbin has never given any issues emptying itself.

Great video Erin! Other auto-empty robots have similar issues emptying with an abundance of pet hair. More frequent vacuuming can help. It's just too challenging for it to empty a *packed* dustbin.

Thanks for the Video. Is it possible to add detergent with the mopping water, noting that many other brands do not allow that? Thanks

How do you change the mode of the vacuum robot? It wont show the map feature in the app anymore
@ClementYeap Жыл бұрын
The mapping system is also a flaw especially going into room with carpet surface. The map will show differently on the distance they went. Ended up they still in same room but map shows it already 'outside the house'. Another worst case is always unable to find way to get back station, she is lost. Like what you mentioned. The sensor seem useless as it always bang on the way.

Yes, that's too bad.

I agree with the issue with the auto empty not emptying.

Dog/cat hair clogging the bin exactly as it does with my Shark stick and Dyson vacuums. Not surprised!

Thank you, Erin! Which one is better? Yeedi vac 2 Pro or ecovacs n8 Pro?

Ooohhhhh. Good choices. I do really like the mopping on the Yeedi vac 2 pro.

Thanks for the video. Do you stand by this review a year or so later? Yeedi appear to be selling for a crazy discounted price of £100.

It’s still good. Thing is better bots have come on the market. My top picks - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hH-QfZ6YrpiHnrs

I'm looking for a vacuum that will avoid carpets ( I always vacuum my carpets with my other vacuum to make sure it's clean) and electric cords. I thought yeedi was the one I'm looking for, but when I saw your video, it made me think twice about buying this one. And I want a robovac that is having a letter U pattern, not the vacuum that is going here and there because I want to make sure that my house is 100 percent clean. Can you recommend something? Thank you!❤

it's just like a shower drain. 1 or 2 pieces of hair will drain, but if you have too much ofc it's going to get stuck, you can't compare dust to hair. I'm just curious if it will suck up cereal and objects like that

The dust bin not auto emptying has been an issue for me. I have a different model so I think it may be a problem with their product line. It does do a good job of cleaning though. I got my Yeedi as a trial of robo vacuums a few months ago. If I was going to upgrade at some point I'd only by a Yeedi if they sort out the dust been auto-empty problem.

Unfortunately, the self-emptying bin is a design flaw, and there’s almost no way to fix it unless they redesign the bin. It sucks debris out of 2 holes, and the vacuum motor has to be strong enough to pretty much break apart the hair. Because the vacuum motor is weak, it therefor will clog. The only way is to tell it to empty every 2 minutes, 5 minutes, etc.

hi Erin, I'm in the market for a robot vacuum but as I'm retentive about mopping I want one with the best mop that I can afford. As a result came across your review. This was in my price range. Perhaps in time there will be a series 2 that resolves the issues you have mentioned. How would you rate this against the Roborock S7? I found your video very professional so I've subscribed and will continue to check out your other reviews. Well done!
@FastLaneTKO2 жыл бұрын
I have both and the yeedi is terrible. It’s not even close the S7. I have dogs and the yeedi is very susceptible to tangling. I even have a cheap $100 eufy 25c that resists tangles better. I have to help the yeedi at least every other day. (So much for autonomy). I clean the S7 maybe once a month. For me it’s worth the difference in price. Good luck!

It actually has two major flaws not one. Yeedi advertises there vacs as being Alexa and google working which is only just barely true. You can turn them on and off with either platform but room cleaning, return to dock and all the other common functions they advertise are in fact a complete lie. It does none of those things and its also very clear the integration they hacked in was meant for something else as the only option you do get is for delicates...yup the integration was originally meant for a washer and they couldn't be bothered editing it out🙄. Good hard hamstrung by bad support.

Good video. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it to cross a black line on my carpet without having to tape the sensors like everyone is saying. It won't go past a 3 foot area because of this. I may be sending this back because of this.
