I saw the first trailer weeks ago but this trailer changes the perception and feel of the movie. I definitely heard the word "Multiverse" being thrown around. This passing of the torch are what the next Marvel movies are all about. Marvel still has the movie making formula and they are tugging on the heart-strings of all their fans.

Well Multiverse was confirmed in Endgame once they started creating Alternate Branch Realities.

Even Steve lived his life in an alternate reality with that world's Peggy coming back to the Main MCU Reality later in life to give Sam the Shield again this is something confirmed by the Russo's in an Chinese Interview and EW interview.

I have a couple theories on where the MCU is going: I think they are introducing the multiverse, so that they can have an explanation for why the Fantastic Four and the X-Men have been mysteriously absent this whole time. Implementing a multiverse makes it very easy for the MCU to bring in a whole bunch of new characters. I also believe that the reason why they turned Hulk into "Professor Hulk," is to prepare us for She-Hulk. I say this because, if you know the classic comics, She-Hulk was never a brute or a thug, but was always very intelligent. She was green and strong, but also sexy and smart. By doing what they did to Hulk in ENDGAME, it will make it all the more natural for us to eventually see She-Hulk. Just a theory.

Erin I think Mysterio is misdirecting Spiderman and Nick Fury by telling them he is from another world, while I believe there is a multiverse, I believe Mysterio is using that to his own advantage, I also think Hydroman and Molten Man are illusions cast by Mysterio , that he fights to make him appear heroic.
