I made a stationery advent calendar with my pen pal this year! It was sooooo much fun can’t wait to get mine from her. It was also a lot of fun to decorate the days.

I’ve turned fountain pens like that! My dad made pens for a guitar shop with the same woods and we used to glue the rosewood scraps together to make super cool pens!

What a good idea to create a gift advent calendar. Last year, I got one for my cat that looks just like Peaches but so far Temptations isn't selling one? Yet? Would like to buy one for me but...bought new Diamine Invent ink and 2 cheap fountain pens, Platinum Preppy, Prefounte, instead of an advent calendar. Staying on budget. Made the ink shimmer but can't make it sheen!! Love your voice. I don't know what to do with stickers, washi tape but figured out from watching you, that they have to coordinate, duh, like Japanese dishes. Loved London antique shops too when I lived there. Nice to see your partner Chris.

american maple burl is super pretty - its caused by a deformity in the tree growth (lots of causes, infections, freeze damage, etc..).

I was just talking about doing an Advent calendar swap with a journaling friend the other day. I have watched a lot of different calendar opening videos and there are always things that are throw away items. Either cheap filler or something I don't need or use. Never really worth the money, it is just fun.
