A bit mechanical perspective that tends to ignore the deeper socioeconomic formation and contradictions that underline the political challenges Eritrea faces in its struggle to build a meaningful nationhood and statehood. To focus on a more superficial organizational inefficiency without considering the complex nature and low level of the socioeconomic development of the Eritrean society can only blur the real deficit of the so call opposition/justice forces, which is for the most part detached from the reality on the ground whether it is inside the country or in the diaspora. The wishful thinking or expectation of change from external forces or factors still remains the dominant mindset of the main political actors. This attitude of dependency or arbitrage opportunity seeking is consciously or unconsciously masks the lingering alienation of the masses from the elites who claim to lead the resistance. Beyond a lip service, what good have the so called opposition done to address the needs of the Eritrean communities in the diaspora, let alone to the people inside the country. Charity starts at home as they say. It has to prove its commitment to its local constituency if any pledge to the general cause is to be credible
