Erislandy Lara - Is a Cuban professional boxer. He is a unified light middleweight champion, having held the WBA title since 2014 (promoted to Super champion in 2016) and the IBO title since 2015. The Ring magazine ranks Lara as the best light middleweight in the world; BoxRec ranks him as the eleventh best boxer in the world, pound for pound. Lara is widely regarded as one of the most technically skilled fighters in boxing today.

Lara in my opinion is one of two boxer in the same weight class as Floyd who could beat him Lara longer arms bit more power slick canelo showed Lara doesn't like body punches however floyds hands are so weak he wouldn't throw body punch or at least not as many as canelo

I hate how we as a society are such followers. We hear 1 or 2 ppl say something and it becomes reality.. The Canelo fight was very close and maybe he did win, but ppl act like it was highway robbery. I personally watched that fight and thought it was a good decision. Lara's a great fighter..

Lara's own manager admitted they never tried to make a fight with GGG. Then not too long ago he came out in a video saying loeffler and K2 had reached out to Haymon about the possiblity of facing some Haymon fighters, including Lara.
